a couple things he said before the election that deserve attention:
he claimed the stock market was a bubble and easily manipulated and not to put any trust in it; now he brags all the time about how great it is doing...
he promised to get out of nafta because trilateral agreements were impossible to negotiate since you have two other countries to work with. now we have the usmca with two other countries; which is going to destroy national sovereignty and allow several APPOINTED leaders and courts to decide things in a "north american union" style setting. if people would take the time to read that deal, we are about to get fucked BIG TIME. Here's one little gem: right to work will be nullified in states where it exists and workers will be forced into unions. Not only that, but the unions will now be across all 3 countries. Does that mean that wages will have to be equal between american, mexico, and canadian workers? you better hope not if you're american.
please stop mentioning how "more people are working now than ever!" this simply means that there are more lower wage jobs, for less hours, more near or at retirement age people working, and less parent(s) able to stay home to raise their kids. this is not an accomplishment. for the government it's great: more taxpayers.

The first part is straight forward. The stock market or economy is very easily manipulated by those in power. Those who have been in power were deliberately sabotaging the American people and now Trump has easily fixed that, twice now.
The second part, you are confused, I think. The 'right to work' issue you pointed out, is a solution to illegal immigration and pertains to migrant workers (legal or otherwise). It allows them to form workers unions to avoid exploitation and suggests an up and coming framework for immigration reform. The dems want an easily exploitable population who can water down the personal economies of the poorest americans. Constantly screwing the renter class.
