Me too, that was the reason why I chose they were post-worthy :) I was surprised when I saw tricomes on them, and charmed by their delicate appearance too. Those tiny jewels that hangs suspended waiting for a whiff of fresh air to release their genes had to be seen in my opinion View Image

Absolutely. Very jewlery like. Never knew that the male plants even made trichomes on flowers.
Hopfully you’ll snap some more zam goodness ;)

Update, 2 Zamaldelicas batch 2013/2014.

Around 10 days into flowering. What phenos do you think they are? Green pot looks more 'african' to me.

Anyone know which pheno she might be?

Wow, beautiful and awesome that you're growing outdoors right now. Is that on personal property, are you afraid of people ripping you off?

Here are a few shots of my keeper Zamaldelica. She is from the Fem line. Really impressive lateral branching and is over 6 feet tall. I collected pollen from 2 different regular Zamaldelica males and will be hitting this soon. I am also going to cross her (branches) with nearly two dozen other males from cookies, fruity, breath, chem and og. There are going to be some CRAZY offspring coming from this big girl. Fun times ahead!!!

I think that I had a bit of breakthrough on topping with Zamaldelica. As with most indoor growers concerned with space and yield, I like to aggressively top and train plants. My standard procedure has worked well, with the exception of Breath and BOG genetics and of coarse this strain.

Almost every Zamal that I have flowered has stayed pretty short. Lots of photos here of others as well. This last round I was forced to veg longer. The plant above was in its final 2 gallon pot for 6-7 weeks in veg. It was only after about 6 weeks did it regain vigor and really start pushing up. I switched this plant to 12/12 at 2 1/2 feet and it has stretched to over 6 feet.

Long story short is that you have to wait until the plant shoots start to stretch in veg, and this can take a long time. If not (with lots of tops), it will stretch very little once flowered.
