Hi all!...I got a question regarding one issue I have with one of the 2 Zamaldelicas I'm currently running outdoors. One of them showed a few male preflowers on one side in two different branches, while on the other side (same height) it has female preflowers. I cut those male preflowers with scissors but I'm not sure if it's something to worry or not. Also almost all the plant's hairs turned orange. (The other plant is a female and got them white)

The seeds are 2013/14 regular Zamaldelicas, which unfortunately, the last time I germinated them, 3 didn't grow, 2 were full hermies and 1 was a great female.(still got 2 seeds, and these 2 I'm running)

So...what do you think?

Had to chop early. Didn't realize the donkey had bud rot. Guess she got too thick. Only one had the bud rot though. Everything else was fine. whew

saitama - what week are those?
looking impressive!!! great colas!
what is the nose on those nuggets like?

The nose is indescribable. I would say something like dried tropical fruits. Definitely have mango and carrot on one and tropical fruit medley on both. They were week 12 at the time of the pics.

Holy shit man, great work.... I have to say, those nugs look way thicker than some combination of landrace sativas. Did Ace cross in an indica along the way some where?

Thanks man. My understanding is there is absolutely no indica lineage in zamaldelica

Hey all, started a zamaldelica a little while ago. This thread gets me excited every time i come for a read.
Loving all the different leanings. Saitama your plant is a real yielder, hoping for some of that! Also loving the outdoor photos, they're looking thai(?), kickarse.

Got a smaller grow but gotta have a way to try the zamaldelica.
Week 4 of flower here.Happy growing lads,

ive got three these girls popping above the dirt line, first run of zamal, first run of fem sativa.......ive got to go flower from seed due to space probs.....6sq ft tent with 550w cfl, theyll be in there with 2 purple haze/thai and a few other 12/12-seed projects.......size constraint is needed, for what it's worth.....1qt/2qt containers with organic soil.......ewc/compost/anc.forest/promixBX/prlt, feeding with neptune's fishXseaweed

im jumping line by not performing due diligence and researching this thread and apologize for being needy, but any off-the-cuff pointers from the venerable zamal crowd would be greatly appreciated.

i have to say, im highly very giggity excited for this. i recently harvested a purplehazeXthai i got as freebie back 7-8 years ago, my first experience(im aware of) of growing and smoking sativa. it's kind of like a love affair with someone you just met that you know is gonna be good and is on the brink of avalanching upon you and sweeping you away, but you're in the breathe/calm before the storm.

Are these thin leafed plants coming from the latest batch of Zam standard?
And the wide leaf is the Fem. version?

zamaldelica pheno

zamaldelica pheno

For documentation purposes, anyone care to help me identify this zamaldelica pheno? Came from a std pack from herbies late 2016. Super floppy stems, insane branching, relatively huge buds, good potent up buzz. Very heavily semi flowering and tropical rosey scented. I'm guessing a Zam/Malawi, but more on the Zam side? That's the confusing part to me, I thought purer zam phenos were harder to find, but this pheno showed up 3x in 2 males and 1 female from a 5 pack. At first I thought it was malawi leaning due to peanut butter/oil scents in veg and when I first flowered it improperly, but those went away when it flowered better this time.

Hi sweet-emotion,

The very first and original Zamaldelica regular release from that time had some hermie tendencies. Current Zamaldelica regular lines still have some but they are less frequent nowadays. I want to work the Zamaldelica regular lines in the upcoming years to make a much more consistent Zamaldelica regular version, like in current Zamaldelica fem release.

Current Zamaldelica fem version is much more sexually firm and with proper growing variables will rarely produce hermie traits.

Congrats and props for your Zamaldelica harvest saitama :)

Without any doubt, one of the best Zamaldelica indoor grows we have had the pleasure to follow lately in this room.

Glad they are reeking to yummy tropical fruits and sweet carrots! :huggg: Excellent looking flowers! Please, let us know your opinion about the smoke after drying and a bit of curing!

Hi coldcanna,

Zamaldelica is a pure sativa poly hybrid. Zamaldelica fem version contains New Killer Malawi parental plant which contributes with its very high resin production, dense flowers, great indoor adaptabity, shorter flowering time and wider leaves.

Welcome Nup :)

I'm glad to know you are excited with your Zamaldelica grow, thanks for joining the thread.

Your Zamaldelica looks very healthy and well tamed in size, the stretching is over and clearly under control ;) Are you growing the feminized version ?
Your female has a blend of traits from the 3 sativas involved in Zamaldelica breeding, but i would say yours is slightly more Malawi dominant than Zamal or Thai.

Best wishes for the flowering! :tiphat:
