Thanks Dubi and Koondense, this is really exciting news. I've already F2d her with her brothers, I'm now confident that I can find a really Zam dominant F2 to work with. Initially I was worried that Zam phenos would be hard to find. Now I just have to worry that they're hard to keep in mom form. Will have to wait a little bit to grow them out as I'm moving to a really nice place that banned growing.

Really liking this pheno. When I grew it improperly I saw some potential but was confused as to why it was so well regarded. Good strong buzz for 20 minutes that wore out (picked early with pest damage) to an okay sativa buzz. Let it go longer and kept bugs out and it is stellar, even though I might've been able to get it go another week or two.

Very very unique stuff, I actually get two effects depending on set and setting. The first is a really strong (seriously, don't drive on it) and potent sativa effect, similar to when it was badly grown except it didn't peter out, just more and more energy keeps on coming until you are overwhelmed and do something. The second is more interesting and the effect I want to work with. It seems to originate in the tops of the harvested plant, so wherever terpenes were the highest. Took me a while to figure out what it was like, but the closest experience was a mild mushroom trip, a little above micro dosing. Not as energetic as the first effect, in fact it's downright relaxing if you let it be but wow visually things get interesting with increased perceptions, mind expansion is through the roof, and the effect lasts. so. long. Three to four hours of essentially being in your own warm personal dimension. Excellent stuff. Never had such an effect from cannabis and it's totally deserving of it's reputation

Thanks nldfarmer for the positive feedback on Zamaldelica too.

Glad you had the chance to finally grow her properly to be able to experience her best qualities, Zamaldelica provides a blend of very energetic effects, psychedelic and mood enhancing qualities, depending on the pheno.

Really happy you found Zamaldelica enough interesting to produce your own seeds with her, hope the line stays with you for a long time providing great moments to you and yours. :ying:

I absolutely agree with your descriptions of Zamaldelica's effects, during the really strong one it's like when you are caught in a wave you can't do anything but ride this wawe of energetic psychoactivity and follow it. It can be overhelming and I'm sure I'll be unable to drive for I'll be too much absorbed by the visuals the 4d music, sounds and all things sensorial so to speak. She's also able to unravel different streams of consciousness, sometimes I find myself thinking about different things like if I was inside them, I take pause from the reality that surrounds me during these episodes. The visuals for me are always been strong. Anyway I didn't noticed that the different gradation of intensity was linked with where the buds were sittings on the plant. I'm thinking it depends on a combination of different factors as the amount you smoke, the setting and personal situation but I'll try to pay more attention next time :)
Nevertheless It's my favourite not-for-everyday-smoke though. Head stash for sure.

Hi, here I am again this time for an update on my finished Zamaldelica grow.
I chopped her at her 13th week of flo. She was ripe, all yellowed out and wasn't trowing out new pistil since the eleventh week.

I'm satisified by the outcome, I tryed some trimming and I was trippin' staring at kitchen towel's pictures .
I'm f2'ing them, She quickly became my friend's and mine's favourite smoke now!

Here are some photos, enjoy!

Thank you very much for sharing your experience with Zamaldelica Twoey ;) Glad you and your friends are enjoying with her psychedelic qualities
The more psychedelic Zamaldelica phenos are probably too trippy for everyday-smoke, but i really like the ones with uplifting effects and with very positive and warm effects for daily use.
Glad you are also producing seeds with her, that's a good sign ;)

currently doing a selection of these 2012 batch regulars ...............i have 2 total auto flowering pheno's... still alive, got a auto flowering male witch i killed .. and have found 2 very badly hermieing females witch i have killed also, and when i say bad i mean wholes branches of pollen sacks
i have 1 very stable male... he showed late, with no female pistils

i have 1 female that looks like almost a pure thai pheno............ it is throwing out a few pollen sacks hidden within the female flowers which im picking off, resin looks great...............

2 that look like 50/50 with thicker malawi like buds with strong stems (growing malawi also side by side)

and 1 with very unique looking buds ................ it was the runt and is smaller than the other plants but

just wondering anyone had any input as to the auto flowering phenos and the slightly hermie Thai ?

are the auto flowering phenos the zamal learners ?

are a few balls just par for the course with a root bound thai ?

Hi growhigh1233,

The auto flowering phenos are more Zamal dominant.
Original Zamaldelica 2012 regular release had much more hermie tendencies than current ones although you can also find very interesting plants in this first release, many sativa lovers loved some of the phenos coming from this older release but imo the newer releases are much better, especially the current fem one.

Update, 2 Zamaldelicas batch 2013/2014.

Around 10 days into flowering. What phenos do you think they are? Green pot looks more 'african' to me.
:tiphat:

Hi sweet-emotion,

Both look like 'thaish' phenos with Malawi influence from the original regular 2012 release, although it's better to wait until end of flowering to be able to evaluate it better. Looking healthy and happy :)

Here are a few shots of my keeper Zamaldelica. She is from the Fem line. Really impressive lateral branching and is over 6 feet tall. I collected pollen from 2 different regular Zamaldelica males and will be hitting this soon. I am also going to cross her (branches) with nearly two dozen other males from cookies, fruity, breath, chem and og. There are going to be some CRAZY offspring coming from this big girl. Fun times ahead!!!

Hi WaterFarmFan,

Beautiful Zamal/Thai pheno :) Yeah i saw your crazy thread where you are open pollinating many different strains with multiple females and males. Should produce enough seeds and genetic combinations to explore for a lifetime! Please, keep us updated with the outcome of the offspring from your Zamaldelica female  And good luck with the project! ;)

I need to pop a few more packs and find a super trippy pheno. I was quite impresssed with the last pack and I do not feel like I found a keeper. Fingers crossed for some LSD like effects!

:tiphat: Hey Dubi! It has been a wild ride and I have learned alot. I estimate that I collected well over 4oz of pollen from 24 different males. Bucket collection and shear volume seemed to help isolate strains. I am just now applying pollen to labeled branches with brushes. Will be a bit of cross-contamination, but I hope to get ~90% accuracy.

In total from your lines, I used 3x Panama females (reg), 2x Panama males, 1x Malawi female (fem), 1x Malawi x PCK female (reg), 2x Zamaldelica males (reg), 1x Zamaldelica female (fem) & 1x Malawi x Panama female (fem) for this project. These are going to get crossed to each other in every way possible to create sativa hybrids. I am most excited to pheno hunt through Zamaldelica F2s and really see what pops up.

Also, I am incredibly interested in creating some powerhouse indica and sativa hybrids. Many people complain that modern very-high THC indica dom strains are indistinguishable in their "high" profile. They might taste different but the effect can be monotone. Zamal Cookies, Zamal Breath, Zamal Chem and Zamal Stardawg sounds so damn intriguing....

Hi nksv,

Looks like the more modern Zamaldelica elite phenos, does she smell very fruity candy like ?

She is advancing very fast and well into flowering. Nice bush! :)

Thanks Dubi, I have her next to a pink flowering Panama and a Panama/Malawi. You guys have provided much growing joy to my life! They're all super healthy and thriving. They do get spoilt by me though haha

Ok, the Zam is kinda fruit candy not super strong in that department; there's the subtle carrot in there. I am hoping for the more psychedelic experience - what characteristics make up the elite pheno - effect wise? TIA

Thanks Tang! Been a joy. I have been mostly indoor micro ghetto for past few years playing around with ACE....been biting at the seems to get some in their full expression outdoors. I enjoy the challenge of indoor in my 'hard rubbish' set up haha and they do ok in there too with my cheap LEDs. I make sure they get the attention they need! I'll be getting some cobs happening when ready!

Do you know much about the elite pheno?

I have only grown 3 plants all of them were elite in my eyes, great phenos. I am seriously considering forking out for the fem breaders pack if they ever release one I just love them in cobs the terps, flavors and effects are outstanding.

One of my Zamaldelica’s auto’d on me, using an 18 hour day.
Now I’m running my T-8’s on 24 and the big MH on 18 to see if she’ll reveg.

Yeah, I f2s only the strains that i REALLY like, thank you for making them available, my remark was just to highlight her trippyness but that was just what I was looking for. This is a clone of Zam1 4/5 week of flowering.

Now I'd like to put a photo even if it's not a plant photo, but today there was a drama going on under the canopy of my Zam1 clone...
A scolopendra had the munchies and decided to grab and eat another one that was passing by... nature gives, nature takes :ying:

Maybe I went a tad too much organic...

I had one mother who flowered under 24hrs under an 80W cfl....

Being root bound is what seemed to trigger it.... when a clone was taken, and care was taken to give roots the space they needed, she stopped flowering (although it was only preflowers mostly)

Awesome pics Twoey!
