my mistake then! but you use references to religion frequently. can you explain your religious orientation so that i may understand what you say better?
i personally believe in the force that created this universe but don't subscribe to any organized religions.
organized religions were created by men and i don't trust their motives.
Putler uses religion as a tool to help him control large masses of ignorant people, but i'm not saying he is the only one.
and please tell me how you will survive the "apocalypse"?

Is Jesus a symbol for a mushroom?
What a ridiculous question you may think, but Dead Sea Scrolls expert John M. Allegro was convinced that Jesus symbolized the worship of a hallucinogenic mushroom.
Allegro was one of the first eight and the only non-Christian to see the Dead Sea Scrolls after they were found near Quram in 1947. Allegro, a graduate in Greek and Hebrew, was the first to publish his findings in the late 1950s. He stated that the figure of Jesus Christ emerged in the scrolls as the leader of an Essene sect. The name Jesus Christ was to be seen more as a title or rank, held by several successors, and the Jesus spoken of was the leader of the sect around the time of the destruction of Jerusalem around 70 AD. According to him, the Essenes were the forerunners of Christianity, but are today completely misunderstood.
According to him, Jesus was more of a kind of druid or medicine man, who led a sect that had a religion that stemmed from the sun and fertility religions that were then found all over the world and were centered around the use of hallucinogenic substances, such as mushrooms.
That view of the Dead Sea Scrolls was of course offensive to the churches and other Christian researchers of the scrolls. They therefore distanced themselves from him and ridiculed him without being able to provide proof that he was wrong. Allegro advocated releasing the scrolls so that everyone could study them, but that did not take until the 1990s. The church naturally had an interest in the fact that Allegro's vision was not taken seriously, since the idea that Christianity would arise from a fertility sect, which came to God under the influence of hallucinogenic substances, was not really easy to digest for a church that among other things, keeps control over her sheep through indestructible dogmas and rules. Allegro's reputation was destroyed and his theory died a slow death.
Was de theorie van Allegro nu werkelijk zo vreemd? Om daar wat meer over te kunnen zeggen moeten we eerst terug naar de ontstaans geschiedenis van religies.
Er zijn eigenlijk twee stromingen waar alle religies uit voorkomen. De religies die de zon en het heelal als basis hebben en in het verlengde daarvan de vruchtbaarheids religies.
De eerste mensen zaten, nog meer dan ons, vol angst en twijfel en begrepen weinig van de wereld waarin ze leefden. Ze zagen wel iedere dag de zon op en onder gaan. In het donker waren ze natuurlijk nog veel banger dan overdag waardoor het donker met kwaad en het licht met het goede werd geassocieerd. De mensen gingen patronen ontdekken in de stand van de zon, maan en sterren en daaruit ontstonden religies. De zon verdween als het donker werd in de baarmoeder van de aarde waar hij s’ochtends weer uitkwam. Al gauw ontdekten mensen het verband tussen regen, zon en groeien van gewassen. Om vruchtbaarheids god gunstig te stemmen werden rituelen ontwikkeld.
De vruchtbaarheid religies komen hier op neer dat de aarde de moeder is wiens vagina wordt bevrucht met het zaad van de schepper. Dat zaad is de regen die verdwijnt in moeder aarde en waaruit het leven bloeit. Omdat sommige planten geneeskrachtige, stimulerende en hallucinerende krachten hadden en omdat ze voortkwamen uit het heilige zaad van de schepper, werden ze als heilig beschouwd. Veel religies hadden de heilige penis als symbool en dat zien we nu nog terug in de obelisken die in o.a. het Vaticaan, Londen en Washington staan. De kerk en de zittende macht zullen het volk niet vertellen dat die obelisken eigenlijk symbool staan voor een grote penis. Die monumenten zijn daar neergezet door de vrijmetselaars, wiens filosofie voortkomt uit deze zon en vruchtbaarheids religies en zij zijn zich er al sinds de Tempeliers van bewust dat de gelovige massa’s voor de gek worden gehouden. De kerk heeft eeuwenlang alle kennis over de oorsprong van het christendom en religie in het algemeen vernietigd en er alles aan gedaan om afwijkende visies kapot te maken zodat er een zoveel mogelijk, homogene vorm van het christendom ontstond, die gebruikt kon worden om de mensen onder controle te houden.
De paddenstoel was een van die heilige schepsels, die voorkwamen uit het zaad van de heilige penis en mensen gebruikten haar krachten om tot “God” te komen. De paddenstoel was een bemiddelaar tussen de mens en God en de zoon van God die uit moeder aarde was geboren. Met het eten van de paddestoel, het lichaam van de zoon van God, kan ook een link naar het heilig avondmaal worden gemaakt.
De schrijver Terence Mckenna gaat nog verder. Hij stelt dat de paddenstoel er voor heeft gezorgd dat mensen bewustzijn kregen. Zijn theorie komt hier op neer dat jagers uit de oudheid op hun tochten ook paddenstoelen aten als ze honger hadden en dat de jagers die dat deden, betere en succesvollere jagers werden. Iedereen die wel eens paddo’s heeft gebruikt kan bevestigen dat je meer uithoudingsvermogen krijgt en veel alerter en scherper wordt van een goed gedoseerde hoeveelheid paddenstoelen. Door de hallucinerende werking van grote hoeveelheden paddenstoelen kregen mensen meer en meer zelfbewustzijn. Dit wordt volgens Mckenna ook verbeeld in het paradijs verhaal uit de Bijbel waar Adam en Eva eten van de boom van kennis van goed en kwaad. Volgens Mckenna was die verboden vrucht de paddenstoel en beeld de schaamte voor de naaktheid de overgang van dier naar het bewustzijn aan. Volgens sommigen was Mckenna ook onderdeel van het MK Ultra programma, dat door de CIA werd o.a ontwikkeld om vrije seks, feminisme en drugs te promoten onder de bevolking maar dat geheel terzijde.

When the Essenes realized that they were fighting a losing battle and that their demise was approaching, they came up with a mix of their own history and the then prevailing thoughts about religion with their leader in the leading role and underneath a hidden symbolic meaning that they wrote on papyrus scrolls and hid in Quran. The Essenes probably never could have imagined that Jesus Christ would become a historical figure and the center of the greatest religion of all time.
Let us first assume that no one person has a monopoly on the complete truth, but I think Allegro comes closer to the real history of Christianity than most modern Christian theologians who are only looking for confirmation of their own religion and thereby conveniently forgetting the deep roots of Christianity in the Babylonian and Egyptian mystery religions.
