the colombian (i didnt ever even notice the u and o thing, very interesting)
i tried smelled and tasted just like alot of the brick i used to get ive been told alot of the mexican genes are tainted with columbians.. the smell and flavor isnt that fantastic its just different in the fact that its the same smelling as alot of the swagg i grew fond of over the years. i like the bagseed stuff for the most part.. if it were handled better thru its journey i think it would be alot like the chaco i was lucky enough to try. not to mention the fluffy bud structure.. It was really fantastic to smoke herb like i used to get but of higher quality and potancy. Oddly enough i relate the smell to that of Lavender or something in that class of smell. the buzz was great classic golden vision sativa high.

Hola NeptHaze, about Colombian (the name of the country is spelled with an O) tons and tons of commercial grade export quality cannabis was and is being produced and shipped all over the world from here. The quality is so so, however its much better then any of the "shwag" I smoked in the USA (Texas, FLA and Georgia). You have to not only come to Colombia and most importantly know someone to obtain the very best (domestic) Sativa. I've done just that, I found after a few years of living in country some of the truly great Colombians that never leave the department they were grown in and have never left the country for export sales. I've smoked a lot of weed in the last 30 years and nothing compares to these rare Colombian strains as far as quality of the high. All commercially grown cannabis in Latin America is "sweat cured" and most is bricked for export. Trust me if you've never been to Colombia you've never had the really good stuff. Here's some "domestic" SMG grown out by me in the central Andina (tropical Andes) region .

Peace from Colombia

Hola Raco, your into birds? There everywhere down here, more different kinds then I've ever seen. This one hangs out below my office window, he's free to come and go but he stays down there cause the people feed him. He's bi lingual now after living by me for the last few months.

Colombian Santa Marta Gold mother and 2nd generation (F-2) Afghan grown out at 2,700m in the Andina region of Colombia. This cross came out much better then the "coastal green" Afghan cross I did earlier last year. The potency is way up there and the taste...well it's unique and very addictive.

Awesome pics RedRider. I could just remember the taste of Columbian Red and Gold back in 1978 - 79, when I got lucky and had the opportunity to know a friend that was buying by the kg. I actually saw a hard compressed brick fo columbian gold. beige to gold coloring... mouth watering. those days a gone, I know. No more of this superb strain in the Ottawa Region. So nostalgia made me looking for pure sativas, hopefully from South Africa. I bought some Hawaiian Sativa X Celestial Temple Sativa and grew the nicest, strongest weed since those Columbian golden days. I am keeping a mother for future cloning and will try to grow a male from my remaining seeds. Long live to 100 % landrace Sativas!

Thanks Budelaire, Colombian Golds are a world renowned treat. I was in Montreal in 78 and smoked some of the best Colombian in my life. Just imagine that sweet blond Colombian but seedless and slow glass cured (not compressed). Thats what this is....

Your pics look mouth watering! awesome legendary weed. too bad they are only available in Columbia or rarely exported.

In the meanwhile, here is the Celestial Temple ruins in Ecuador. Big sativas must be growing around! I know I have their strain and it has a soaring high, as high as their mountains!

In Montréal? are you born there?

I've heard great things about your strain but I've never been to Ecuador or smoked anything from there.
I wasn't born in Montréal but my mom was and I spent many summers up there with family. I love Montréal and think its my 2nd favorite city, great food, dope and the women....wow I miss it.

I'll get myself a digital camera sometime in April and I can't wait to post my cured Sativa buds. I have both phenos: fluffier with lots of needle size leaves, like in your pics. Citrus / pineapple aroma. the flavor is fruity/incensed/earthy. The other pheno has tighter buds, still needle-size leaves, bright orange pistils, more of a skunky aroma. both pheno have the same soaring stellar uplifting effects. no couchlock, no relaxing effect at the end. Straight rocket fuel LOLLL. yesterday night I smoked 3 puffs in my little metal pipe and I did some power housecleaning... keep in touch mon ami de Montréal!
