Saitama!

WTF haha!? are you feeding them green ooze from the ninja turtles? some freaks.....

Nothing special! I'm not even using any bloom boosters. Here is my regimen, to the T:

17ppm tap water
cal-mag to .3 EC
Drip Clean @ 1ml/gal
Mammoth P @ 1.5ml/gal
Veg+bloom R/O to 1.4 EC (early/mid flower) 1.3 EC (later in flower)

Top dress of recharge every now and then. I'm not consistent with it.

That is it.

Very nice! You have your little space seriously dialed in. Seems like you found the sweet spot with led panel and plant height. It would be harder to get the even PAR with 5-6 foot plants. F'n fantastic job!!!

What kind of reservoir are you running? Temp? Aeration? Pumping/feeding timing?

Thanks mate. I'm running a blumat pressure system. Res is ambient temperature that room ~75F. No aerarion at all. You can find the details in my grow journal.

Zamaldelica Males

Zamaldelica Males

I am finally flowering my Zamaldelica males. These were started about 16 months ago, and they are the original seed plants. They spent the first 14 months of their lives in a 16oz plastic cup, topped more than a dozen times and just like Baby, put the in the corner. They were not happy for a very long time.

I brought them back to health 8 weeks ago and gave them the respect (up-potting, HID lighting and full nutrients) that they rightfully deserved. The first picture in each group is right after sexing in October 2016. The others are after 2 1/2 weeks of 12/12 now. #1 has started to stretch pretty good, but it is still 18 inches shorter than #6. #1 seems to match closely my Zamaldelica keeper female (from fem line), with short and squaty traits. #6 seems have a bit more thai in him.

Just finished my Zam grow. Went 12.5 weeks. Pulled a little early I believe. Only have a 5 ft ceiling and this plant absolutely exploded. Lots of bending needed.

Very uplifting, warm, clear sativa high. Smoke is wonderfully expansive. Warm and euphoric, yet soaring high. The intensity of your draw is felt the most after the exhale as the complexities linger and take over for a long lasting high.

This one also beat my P.Haze for best yield to date. 283 grams. This is my all day smoke now.

Will grow again in 2018 for sure.

Excellent andlund930 :)

Glad you are enjoying with the expansive and euphoric qualities of your Zamaldelica! And that the harvest was good ;) Enjot her!

Hi, Sativa growers and fans. I started four seeds of Zamaldelica in september and now the one that made it, it's happily nearing her 10th week of flowering. I sow four beans but I think they didn't liked the jiffy's pot were put in. (I didn't have fortune germinating other strains in it so I'm quite sure It's not ACE seeds to be blamed for what happened. I've started the remaining two seeds of Zamaldelica just four weeks ago in root riot and they germinated in two days without problems and are now on bondage treatment and under 12/12 light regime :) ) Anyway I get lost into this amazing tread and I don't remember if somebody asked yet ... are there some "early" phenos of Zamaldelica? Mine seems quite ready. I will post photos as soon as I learn how to do it, I'm new on ICMAG. Anyway I couldn't resist and I tried a little popcorn bud well... I loved how clear was the high, I took a stroll into the city and even if I wasn't felling stoned my head was clearly warped https://www.icmag.com/ic/images/smilies/laughing.gif, trees' bark and all kind of patterned material seemed to me like they were slowly breathing and colors were so enanced expecially red's and yellow's. I wasn't confused but I was able to keep focus on what was around me (and that was looking very strange indeed) but in a sort of analitical and cold mode, I loved it even if it was a quick test of a bad dried popcorn bud!! And I'm looking forward to do a proper smoke test. I also had a very smooth comedown no burnout at all.

Hi Twoey,

Thanks for sharing your experience with Zamadelica too!
Guess you are growing the fem version, Zamaldelica fem version has very early flowering phenos for a pure sativa that can be done in 10-12 weeks of flowering.
Yours looks resinous and with dense flowers, wish the smoke is of your taste! :tiphat:

Hi Dubi! Long time no chat, so I hope all is well! After more than a year of searching and selecting, I am finally getting ready to flower all of my males and make a few hundred crosses. I am most interested in Sativa/Indica hybrids with Zamaldelica and Panama. I have 2 Zam males, 1 Zam female (fem line), 2 Panama males, 3 Panama females (reg line), 1 Malawi female (fem line) & 1 Malawi x PCK female (reg line) to play with. All the females have been run a few times and I consider them elite keepers of the highest order.

I also have about 20 insane Indica female keepers, selected from 60+ elite breeder packs and about the same numbers of males. I could not find the exact quote, but I thought that you mentioned Zamaldelicia does not outcross that well to skunk. Could you please elaborate on what you define as skunk, as it relates to the broader class of Indica hybrids? Have you seen Zam males or females to be more dominant (ie produce more Zam traits) in crosses?

I have some female Cannarado Sundae Driver, female and male Thug Pug Peanut Butter Breath and female and male Karma Road Dawg (and many others) that are some of the frostiest/tastiest/most potent Indica strains on the planet, and I believe they could create a super hybrid when combined with your gear. I am going to experiment with most but I would love your feedback as I seriously consider which crosses to make.

Thanks!

Hi WaterFarmFan,

Sounds like you have been busy selecting from many different strains  with such wide selection of genetics you should be now in a very good position to start to make very successful crosses  Glad you rate your selected plants from our strains as elite :)

To be honest i have never made a cross between Zamaldelica and Skunk. Indeed i have not used Skunk strains in any of my breeding projects for the last 5 years. I like a lot how Skunk enhances terpenes in its crosses but i don't like much Skunk effect.

Very beautiful Zamaldelica males to play with ;) Both seem to have a good amount of thai influence, male # 6 obviously more.
Hope they produce interesting offspring! Best wishes with your projects! Please, keep us updated!

Took this one (fem) down at 10 wks – it just looked ready. It’s curing now, smell is very interesting, totally different than my other one. Itʼs very sharp, my wife thinks it smells fruity, I think: dried herbs. Weird.

Hi spugg,

Glad to see you give another round to Zamaldelica :)

Your Zamaldelica has a very nice structure, short flowering and really nice main cola. Wish the aromas, effect and potency after curing are of your taste! Thanks for your contribution.

How can it have a trippy mushroom like high while having the height and yield of a massive indica?? This is just creepy and unnatural like F*cking space aliens bred it or something. :abduct:

It happens with the right touch of New Killer Malawi ;)

Amazing job you have done with your indoor Zamaldelicas saitama  Congrats! Looks like you a Swiss Alps landscape, my Goddess!! :dance013:

I'm glad i didn't interrupt your grow with my 'tips', just keep doing what you are doing!

I'm flattered! I looked back in the thread and I didn't see your tips! I am sorry for that; I would have listened. But maybe not you're saying I shouldn't have
