Hi all! Here a couple of reg Zamaldelicas...2013 seeds. One is a girl (the one in the big pot) and looks like the other one it is too.

Seems to be two different phenos, one more zamal/thai (big pot) and the other Malawi dominant.

I grew 3 in 2014 and two came out as hermies while the other was like this years zamal/thai dom pheno...and it was bomb...mango, carrots, lemon and flowers aromas. The high was brutal. Knocked out couple of people. Let's see how these develop...and let's hope I don't get my plants stolen like last 2 years.

Well, some bananas are showing in one of the girls. I wanted to cut the plants on march, when we start to have less dark hours, but if the rain stops for a day, and sun dries the plant, I will cut it down...if not, another rainy week is coming :whee:

Hi Karra,

Sorry to hear your Zamaldelica threw bananas in flowering.
Are you flowering her with an increasing photoperiod ? If so, that could be the reason, some lines tend to produce bananas when flowering in spring with an increasing photoperiod.

Please, email me to: [email protected] with the details of your order and we will send you a replacement. Regards!

Hi Twoey,

Thanks for sharing your experience with Zamadelica too!
Guess you are growing the fem version, Zamaldelica fem version has very early flowering phenos for a pure sativa that can be done in 10-12 weeks of flowering.
Yours looks resinous and with dense flowers, wish the smoke is of your taste! :tiphat:

Thank you Dubi for your work I'm really enjoying my first Zamaldelica both for the effects and the easy of grow.
Mine are regular seeds from 2015 but I think she was faster than average because I grow her in a little pot.

G'day Dubi, got some nice Zams growing, having trouble finding a male that doesn't start pushing out female pistils early on, first one was in the middle of winter, the last two have been in summer outside in 28l pots, what do you think could be the cause ?

had great pleasure growing your strains, they are top class
had a couple of Malawi x pck males, crossed them with 3 different GT's and a nice Malawi, they are the only males I've found apart from the hermie zams
everything else has been turning out female, about 80+% its been fantastic

one of the Zams looks like very Thai leaning, purple stems and thin leaves,
like the beautiful Thai leaning GT, a bit more purple tho
will post some pics of them soon

Hi Dubi,
Thanks for your answer, it is very kind of you.
A friend send me a photoperiod chart for the Canary Islands where shows that we are about 13'10hrs

These are the two other Zamaldelicas that are showing some bananas and i guess, they are reveging
To be honest, these girls and some Golden Tigers, are my first sativa experience ( except for some "Palmeritas" or "congoleñas", who knows, 20 something years ago) and my very first time growing any strains from. I am not complaining at all, i am happy to see how this girls are growing up in winter grow and I will try again for sure. Any way I will send you the datails you are asking for.
Gracias, Dubi

Hola Karra, I was been in La Palma one year ago and I smoke a strain called by the chicos " La Sativa del Pais". This strain is very racy, euphoric, very rapid onset, speedy, laughable, little paranoia, but not very strong, not a problem because it's very psychoactive, and a little amount a 0.2 (one year of curado)without tolerance take you for sure to the moon, very cheap like 2 euro a gram also for the foreigners and always the guys from here give always a present, very sweet chicos :huggg:,my question is you know what landrace is? This weed have a little floral and woody odour but very good sweet taste maybe better than strong hybrid sold , also fucking cheap with home delivery at 2 euro and lower for big amount!! Really beautiful place ,friendly people, sorry for the long post but yeah Canary Island are awesome :peacock:

many tropical varieties can be described that way.

dont seem to have high levels of thc but the psychological effects are still pronounced in small doses and if you smoke a big spliff you will blast off

The high is not the hammer type, like strong hybrid, supposedly this landrace/heirloom have a low thc, but a terpene/cannabinoid profile that hit the right spot to fly high, like ganja from seventies that are weak in the thc departament but yeah you can fucking trip with it, in ganja I prefer good psychoactivity than strong potency, a hybrid with an hammer high yeah it's strong but can be boring because one dimensional, landrace in general are bi dimensional or more :biggrin a trippy, spiritual, otherwordly high need psychoactivity an then potency enhance all the effect but to me you can't say the opposite, potency an only potency is a waste of high, but for sure get couchlocked baked sometimes is good :tiphat:

Hi Bardo Eagle!
To be honest I really not sure at all wich one could match with the one you'd smoked, could be "La Palmerita"(?). I would like to say we have pure landraces here but I am not 100% sure about this, because probably our "landraces" come from Africa, which is great anyway :) It has been said that there are 3 or 4 short of strains: La Matamigos (probably the strongest one), La Rubia and La Gigante and more common, lately, La Palmerita...but as far as I know, and as i said, years ago what I planted was simply a sativa from la Palma, don't know which one of those could be.
Next trip to La Palma I would like to do some search in order to find something good enough. The true is that we have a enormous potential growing sativas here :dance013:
Sorry for the OT

This weed was clearly a landrace, dark green, loose, leaves and little odor ,not lime green like other indoor/outdoor smoked here, for sure is one of the best place in the world to grow sativas, in the rural place of La Palma I'm sure you can find a real deal, peace :huggg:
Sorry for OT but Canary Island give me the hype lol
