Little update on my Zam

Little update on my Zam

My little two new Zamaldelica are happily growing. They seems to be unaffected by my action of bending them and keep on growing nice and green.
I can spot some difference between the two, Zam 1 (ph. 1 and 2) has narrower leaves than Zam2 (ph. 3 and 4).

Enjoy!

Happy 12/12 day everyone!

The one in the front seems to be more squat and flowering faster. The buds are more developed. The lady in the back is taller, more stretchy and has smaller buds.

Well I think It's time to chop my first Zamaldelica she's at her 11th week of flowering.
She yellowed out nicely and stopped pushing new pistils out since week 9th 1/2

Thank you Saitama, now I'm looking forward to smoke her. I also love that there are some slightly purple calixes scattered in her buds.

Greetings Twoey, Congrats on yiur first Zamaldelica grow and harvest. Looks like you harvested a little bit early so expect her to be rather racy. That will mellow over time with a good 2 to 3 month cure to really have her at her most potent!
I grew Zamaldelica as my first Ace purchase and fell in love eith her and Thankfully I took clones and she is still alive a well in my veg chamber and one in flower too. Ran her three times this year and comtinue in 2018 with a couple new Zamals.
Zamaldelica Elite x Purple NepJam.
Purple Zamal x Purple NepJam.
A nice forest of Zamal and Zamaldelica to start the year!!!

Enjoy your bounty ! Happy harvest and Happy Future Grows

Thank you very much ULMW, I've enjoyed your ACE gear growings a lot
I unfortunately can't keep clones, mainly for space issues and also because during the summer I leave. Anyway, I was in doubt if chopping her or not but in the end I decided to cut her because she had barely any leaf and I wanted to enjoy the more electric side of Zam . If she result to be a touch too edgy I will let her mellow out for some time as you say, I'm not in a hurry.
P.S. I'm looking forward to your new treads about Purple Zamal x Purple NepJam and Zamaldelica Elite x Purple NepJam.
Keep it green or should I say purple? :tiphat:

Amazing Twoey! What did you use to shoot the close ups ?

I use a Sony A7 or a Panasonic G6 but the camera is not important.
I shoot with an inverted Nikon 28mm manual lens mounted on them. It's a cheap way to experiment with macro if you have the photographic gear, the mount inversion ring was like 18 euro.
Just searc for lens inversion macro tecnique and you will find some good guides online.
P.S. I love your growing diaries

Zam1 e Zam2 12th day of flowering

Zam1 e Zam2 12th day of flowering

Hi guys let me add some photos of my new Zamaldelica. They showed sex now so I've two new females in my growroom :woohoo:
Zam1 she's vigurous and keeps growing at a steady pace.

Zam2 she has more rounded leaves than Zam1 and seems a little behind her sister.

I'm pretty sure I have a mango/carrot pheno. It smells very tropical fruity. She is the shorter/bushier of the two and faster. The other one smells somewhat difficult to explain. Kind of woody, more tall and lanky.

Is anybody aware of which phenos I might have? I know the mango carrot one is supposed to be the Zamal leaning one, but that was with reg. I'm not sure which phenos are in the fem line.

Hi Saitama,
they have bounced back nicely, very vigourous growing is happening in your tent :)
I remember Dubi said somewhere that he used the Elite carrott phenoX Zalawi for the fem version so I think your chance to have one carrott leaning pheno are high, the other plant could be a Malawi pheno, which is supposed to express more woody and oily scents.
Mine seems more leaning to a kind of sweet-vegetables pheno but I agree with you when you say that it's difficult to describe how they smell.

Is it just 1 picture or did you make several and stacked them together like with a microscope?

Kind regards,

They're all composed of one picture, I used a f8 aperture that gave me some usable dof. Anyway I will try focus stacking in the future, it's a fascinating tecnique.

Nice images Saitama..!!

Well down to one Zammy left and it's a Thai Pheno, it was the last plant to show sex and it's a boy..
