My Zamaldelica fems, just over a month from seed, flipped to 12/12 today. Very similar growth and smells so far - LOUD!

Those look like my last grow of Zamaldelica. I wasn't too sure if they would be as good as the previous more lanky octopus type plant.
But after a good cob cure they are dynamite and blow me away every time with a nice spicy Malawi pine taste chewed, exceptional herbs.
Those roots are certainly sucking on that dripper they look so healthy.

When do you guys normally start your flush? I'm 2 days into week 8.

Starting to see some amber hairs but I think we still have quite some time to go.

Greetings Saitama !
Beautiful expression of Zamaldelica you have there. As Tangwena says patience now and let her fully ripen. 12 to 14 weeks provides a nice array of the plants expression from the 12 week young and racy up to a 14 to 16 wk mature classic that just creeps and creeps til you think it can't creep no more. They also last a long long time in their effects.
Happy growing!!!
:)

Zamaldelica fem before harvest

Zamaldelica fem before harvest

Took this one (fem) down at 10 wks – it just looked ready. It’s curing now, smell is very interesting, totally different than my other one. Itʼs very sharp, my wife thinks it smells fruity, I think: dried herbs. Weird.

They are beautiful plants, I love the shot with all the roots sipping every drop that come out of the blumats, it's a very interesting detail! Mine went for 10 and half weeks, but she was grown in a little pot, and I read that this could led to a quicker finishing time. I was in doubt if I could let her go for another week but she seemed ready to me so I chopped. Anyway the high exceeded my expectation it's quite trippy visually, and it's potent and comes in waves. I like her aromas too, she's smells sweet/tropical with some kind of vegetable mixed in and is also smooth to smoke.

Likkle pic of my bonsai style Zamaldelica. 10wks now. Lovely and sugar coated just as she has been each grow since I first grew her about a year ago. This was the third run from the original mother. I even got a next group of clones currently in the aerocloner :)
I also took clones off the Purple Zamal x Purple NepalJam.
They will all go into flower same time for a 3 Way Zamal Grow !
Joining Elite Zamaldeica x Purple NepalJam .
Thank You Ace Seeds. I really love Zamals and the Zamaldelica. :tiphat:

My Zamal. Still at least 5wks to go, but here's some pictures of the beautiful flowers of her. Under 300W LED, sitting in coco & air pots. Very low humidity & temps. Scrogged & LST'd heavily. Don't know what the white "spots" are; certainly not bugs as I have checked very carefully the whole tent.

Hi Kalpsu,

On what surface area are you growing? I.e. what are the floor dimensions of your growing space? I'm looking out to buy a COB LED system, but I need to know How many watts I need to replace a 400 watt HPS.

kind regards,

Siever

Hello Siever ! It is a small tent, 50 x 120. 300W will replace your 400 watt HPS as HPS kinda let's some what 70% of the watts to the heat it produces - LED's don't do that (by the general statistics gathered from the PAR WATT of the LED 30% goes to heat "waste"). There is still something magical in HPS that makes plants a bit more yum yum in the terms of calyx size, bud size, thickness... But yeah, you will be amazed by these new age legs. The 10+ years of designing that has gone into these units really pays off. Viparspectra (USA) & Sanlight (AUSTRIA) are some of the brands I would recommend. Viparspectra is really cheap but don't let that fool you, they are for real.

Going from HPS to LED the most importang thing to be aware is the penetration of chlorophyll... LED doesn't do that easily, hence I grow everything in SCROG -style with heavy defoliation to get the best outcome.

Hope this helps,

Kalpsu

Love that Blumat setup Saitama. You’ve obviously made those zammys very happy. I’m sure they’ll reward you with the most potent, beautiful product. ONE PUUUNCH!!!!
