I got a pack of the "Trippy" version of Zamaldelica. All fat leaves thick stems. I guess I'm just unlucky... No date on them, but they basically are the same as the new Zamaldelica. Luckily we've got some of the originals. Huge difference in looks. Some people like the more narcotic high. It grows faster. I have pictures of 5 different phenotype, all with just 3 sets of leaves to show how one can tell the difference at an early age. The thai pheno needs almost no nitrogen. The Zamal takes more, and is lighter green. And then the Malawi dominate are obvious. Fat leaves, dark green. The carrot smelling one is not the trippiest one. The kind of pineapple, chemical smelling one with calax everywhere is the king. I think that one is a Thai x Zamal pheno.

hehe,

"every cloud.."; you are fortunate enough, to have a representation of the highly sought after genetics, that maybe are not so prevalent anymore ?, bar pending a different reproduction (ace seems very busy)

i think, maybeconsumers are maybe to blame for that revolution...

probably complaining of nanners....

and fuore about malawi recently,

little bit ironic, perhaps.

----------------------

thankyou for the pheno difference write up and information.

Can you show some pics of the different pheno's you are describing? I have never ran anything from ace before but ordered 3 packs of half of everything they have from ssc. Then, ordered half of everything they had feminized directly from Ace, all 5 packs.

I will say my Zamaldelica has not been flowering long and has extremely skinny leaves a bit wider than a pencil, very long serrated blades. It is very lanky and vigorous and have already been breaking her necks for a bit. I must have got a lucky pheno for the feminized version?

Better luck next time bro.

I have never ran anything from ace before

vs.

a person, who has grown 3 different reproductions of zamaldelica observed many different phenotype.

(old, "trippy" (malawi dom ?), and new (presumably a reproduction towards malawi (??)) (as noted similarity between two)

hrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

i don't know who to believvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeee

Yup. I'm very happy I don't have the malawi pheno, pretty thai dominant, this one is. No broad leaf about her at all.

I'm just stating my observation.

No, i've never grown "Zamaldelica". Although I have grown many landrace sativas, including thai.

Based on my observations, of many Zamaldelica journals I have read and researched, I can almost guarantee this one here is very thai dominant. I don't see any Malawi influence whatsoever, but this plant could be magical and hop right on that time machine that you speak of and one day, just maybe one day.... closer to harvest, she will convert malawi style on my ass...

But, Collembola, I am not sure if, I am following you... Please show us some pics and describe these pheno's. Seriously. I'm interested!

And on a side note:

If pheno's didn't exist, there would NOT be pheno's, which include variations. But, phenos do very well exists.... and, they are real.

I have seen some VERY sativa dominant phenos come from some almost pure indica strains/genes. Just saying for an example. There is variations and possibilities in everything.

How do you think people obtain [find] elite cuts?

Collembola

how do you know you subjectively will not prefer malawi dominant phenos, of this specific reproduction of the strain called "zamaldelica", having not smoked any, and not having access to the genetics used before (without a time machine) ???.

having not tried, any of the progeny of any of aces plants ?

---------------

stop talking about totally unrealted plants in reference to the plant you haven't sampled, that HAS changed since original reproduction.

(i haven't either, and i probably won't be growing it, as some of the other of aces strains are much more appealing for me subjectively...).

--------------

"phenotype" is just a reference word for humans.

--------------

i will go, sorry for posting too much.

Dear Collembola,

Hmmm, let's see. Where do I start.....

How do I know if "I will not enjoy the malawi dominant (pheno, of this specific strain called Zamaldelica, having not smoked any, and not having access to the genetics used before (without a time machine) ???

Well, Collembola, its like this............................

I do not prefer the Malawi, because I do not prefer the Malawi.... It would almost be like purchasing a brand new Corvette. You know that you love a Corvette (Thai in this case), you like the style, the shape, the sound, the visual "feel of the Corvette, as well as the manufacturers specifications and reviews of the vet. Yet not ever driving the vet itself, you prefer the Corvette rather than the Dodge Viper (Malawi in this case).

You see my friend, it all comes down to a simple word called preference.

There is no other explanation.... I prefer the "Corvette!....

It all comes down to preference my friend............

Now that part is out of the way, let's discuss the word >>>>"phenotype".

Phenotype: [fee-nuh-tahyp]:

1. The observable constitution of an organism.

2. The appearance of an organism resulting from the interaction of the genotype and the environment.

Therefore it is not simply just a "reference word for humans.....

It is what it's definition states that it is...

.............................................................................................

"stop talking about totally unrealted plants in reference to the plant you haven't sampled, that HAS changed since original reproduction.

"

As far as above statement goes, i'm not even going to go there nor get on that subject.......... No
.:comfort:

And apology accepted.... We all seem to get a little technical at times when we are placed in a situation to where we need to have an explanation of the why or how come we prefer certain things, a certain way.

Zamadelica

high @ all;
so here you can see two different Zamaldelica phenos...
I had three different from three beans... 2 more Malawi looking while one smells more like the fruity early Malawi the other smells more like ananas, vanilla...
My fav is the fox tailing mango/carrot smelling Zamaldelica...
A dream... really something for connoisseurs!
@ the moment she is number one one my top 3 list while Golden Tiger(thai pheno) is number 2 and 3 is now Malawi...
there is also Purple Haze & Malawi, Malawi&PCK and some outdoor stuff so the top 3 list might change... PH&M is still curing and need longer!
thx dubi for this absolute amazing top sativa genetics again!
You are a ganja wizard!
Can't get enough ;-)
Ahh flower times: from start flower to finish 12 weeks @ 12/12 hps&Mh @ the last 4 weeks for better taste ;-)
P.S. not so sensitive to nutrients like Malawi or PH&Malawi.
enjoy
M.

OHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh;

that makes perfect sense.

especially the bit about having a preference for something, that will probably, but not certainly happen in the future ?,

like if the space-time continum, doesn't have a wobble or anyting.

-----------------

on phenotype;

DEFINITION 1: 2nd word,

look up that word, and then consider what species it applies to.

----------------

AMAZING MADMAC!!!

thankyou,

that's book worthy.
