Just a small update on the 8 Zamaldelica seedlings. They are all doing well and very healthy, no problems at all so far. Next week will be the third week for them. All of the seedlings stretched quite a bit except for one which is interesting. Also I forgot to mention in my first post in this thread that these are of the Zamal/Thai batch. They are very vigorous and grew quite a bit for only 3 weeks so I'm hoping I'll be able to get these moving right along faster than expected.

About three weeks before chop, I will do a cob cure method with
the yield, surely will be epic smoke if I do it right.

There will be songs sung of the result, no doubt
Hey DC. That Zam looks way off 3 weeks finish. Do you have anymore pics ? How many weeks in flower now? What lighting are you using?

i got question for you guys. i want to grow zamaldelica fem seeds at 45north outdoor...can it be done here ? any ?

would say if you grow from cuttings and you have a good sunny place Yes. Depend on weather but from cuttings you have a good chance...
I have a early Malawi that finished faster then every thing else... you can see that wonder in my last outdoor grow @ 51° north europa ...
Well if you find that early Zamaldelica... you'r in the boat too...
I try this year Zamaldelica from cuttings outdoor for sure ...

As I type this she is at 109 days from flip, in a box with 165W PL L.

That pic is at 98 days. I usually chop from 110 days +.

"...looks way off 3 weeks finish." Meaning she has more to
offer? No worries, I won't chop till she begs for it.

Surely you don't imply she past chop, no?

I'll try some macros, but I do know this plant finishes from
the bottom to the top. Maybe this time I'll chop the lowers
first and let the top go longer.

At 10x magnification, trichs are most milky with some clear.

My malawi leaning zamaldelica #08 finished top to bottom in 10 weeks, should of taken it at 9 weeks for a bit clearer high, as it is the malawi heavy head high that leaves behind a fog/woolly headed/hungover feel to it the next morning. The others with the scary thai pheno went the full 14 weeks and could of went even longer as it kept throwing new pistils.

My Zamaldelica #1 about done throwing pistils @13wks chop around the corner:

Welcome cannabissativa,

Zamaldelica feminized flowers faster in average than the standard version, but maybe 45º is a bit too much up north for this kind of tropical sativa hybrid.

It depends a lot on your micro climate, the start of autumn and the pheno you are growing .... If you live in warm coastal climate and the season comes with a good autumn without frosts until early November then it can be done, but cannot guarantee 100 %.

Purple Zamal cannabinoid analysis

Purple Zamal cannabinoid analysis

I'm quite impressed with the potency and intense racy/trippy effect of the new Purple Zamal mother harvested past Xmas.
It's developing very interesting and exotic aromas with the curing as well. I will post a more detailed smoke report after a bit more of curing.

Meanwhile, here's the result of its cannabinoid analysis.

Have you ever had your plants tested for THC-V? It's strange that the trippiest strains are never high THC. There has to be some other chemical responsible for the trippy sativa effects.

Unfortunately Canna lab has not the standard to recognize THCV cannabinoid in their HPLC analysis, so we won't be able to comment about the THCV content of our strains yet, hopefully in the future.
Cannabis effects depend on the synergy between cannabinoids and terpenes.

Hi Dubi! pure Zamal means it's the landrace direct from La Reunion and not crossed to the Thai and Malawi?

A couple shots of the two Zamaldelicia growing in the garden. We'll see if I'm able to contain them, right now the larger of the pair is 6' tall and about 4.5' wide.
