This little lady has my tastebuds anticipating. Zam at thirty days into forced flowering outdoors.

picture.php

I started hanging a black plastic sheet around her each night on July 15, hoping that she would finish earlier in the fall if I could get her started flowering early. She's now fully in flower, and several other cannabis plants in my garden have begun flowering naturally now, so I'm thinking about ending the black-boxing.

I hope the sudden end to the ritual doesn't cause her to herm or re-veg.

This girl has me smiling every day. She already has the largest colas I've ever grown, and she's only four weeks in, with six to nine weeks more to grow them even bigger.

Update, pic of today. I smellt some of the pre flower nudguals on the stem, u know the lil brachts along stem that ripen up first? It had a sweet sort of cinnamony floral scent to it. Still not going into flower so im guessing this plant wont be ready till at least November. Hopin the flower kick in soon. Anyone know of a product to kick sativas into flower?

Nice job CowboyTed; you have a lot of fat colas so early on. You are already going to have a bountiful harvest, hope she is a one-hitter too!
Peace, God bless

I had a weird coincidence where I sprayed all my plants (Island sweet skunk were flowering already and Bubba Hash was not) with foxfarm big bloom as a foliar spray and Bubba hash went into flower. So I tried it in a two week old Lebanese pheno that was usually 30 days on 12\12 before flowering. She popped preflowers in 12 hours. She is from ACE landrace Lebanese stock. Let me know if you try it and works with your plant!
I followed the direction on the bottle!

Here's a view of one of my two Zamaldelica plants this year. From feminized seeds. It's doing ok but it didn't attain the size I hoped for.Still it should be nice when finished. But quite a ways to go still.

Two very different sisters

Two very different sisters

Both from same pack of fem Zamaldelica - both are untopped
Zam #1 has always stayed small with very tight nodes and small leaves. Early on she developed a strong classic weed smell. She had a very significant stretch and has only begun budding.
Zam #3 is a week younger but very far along in development. She was fast out of the gate and grew a big frame before beginning to bud beginning of August. She has a sweet tropical fruit smell, and the resin is beginning to build.

Yeah, comes from a regular 2015 pack. Gave me several extreme nld phenos like this one, there was one which I lost last spring and really packed some serious trippiness. Unfortunately all males I found were from the opposite spectrum of the line and I didn't keep them. This one will be of the flowery type I assume there is a branch pollinated with a nice Durban poison male and another with a Queen mother(King Father?) F3.
Hope she smokes as good as she looks

Sad news for Zamal lovers. Reunion Island has decided to gradually switch it's sugar cane production for industrial hemp with 5 parcels starting right now in various locations around the Island.

I guess it's time to do some repros of what is left as the strain is suddenly in danger of massive genetic pollution

Oh shit... :(
I hope I don't irritate Ace seeds mod if I name other strains, but carrot mangu and k1 are pure zamal cultivars, right? I have some seeds in the fridge, I'll have to germinate them, one day ...

yeah BB are maintaining the strain (for how long now since I believe they still stay there?) I believe several members here have grown GN Zamal don't know how many made a repro as stable zamal males are hard to find.
