Two more Zamaldelica fem, my last two from a 6 pack I got in 2016;
\
These are about two months old, from seed. Topped a few times for clones about a week apart from each other and potted from solo cups to 1 gal pots two days ago. Currently under 600w MH in coco pots

!? Those were in SOLO cups two days ago!? Very nice Chronos. Zam is pretty hard to keep happy in a rootbound situation and those plants look great. Good luck with your next “trip” into Zam land!

thanks so much for the kind words and wishes, i've been looking forward to growing her again and i'm very excited to have two new phenos. i can't wait to see what they bring me :)

i pretty much am growing these like i've i grow all my plants; straight coco, small containers. rootbound is good in my book.

i'm honestly more impressed with this plant the more i deal with her. she puts up with alot! Very vigorous and enthusiastic breed for sure, and what a beauty. i'm in love all over again.

theyre in 1 gallon pots now but id like to see them in at least 2 gallons before i flip,

im not sure i have the room to let them veg while they fill the new pots.

can anyone give me an idea about how long after flipping until they stop giving good roots?

maybe they stop root growth right around when they stop stretching. The other zamal stretched probably 3 to 4 weeks, I'd bet on 4 weeks stretch. all directions. three times its size.

any help with this would be greatly appreciated and any suggestions, i'm all ears.

last run i just sort of went for it and hoped for the best, i feel lucky it turned out the way it did. i'm not even sure if i want to put up a net or just tie them as needed like i tried to do last time.

hope all are having a nice evening

They spent a week in 1 gallon and I decided they might be ready for their final pots; 2 gallon buckets

Roots show what a week from solo cup to 1 gallon did (pretty sure these are actually .6 gal)

I topped the lanky one to even it out, gonna flip as soon as the roots fill in enough for good feedings or they start getting too big

5 weeks of 12/12 today. Z1 is shorter and bushier and has a sharp, pungent aroma. Z2 is long and lanky and has a softer, sweeter floral aroma.

Nope, they're my last two fem seeds. They were pretty small when I flipped them to 12/12 but I had an opening in my flower room so I took some clones and away we went.

6-12 felt good jarring the Zam. It was light and crunchy (with resin?) but not dry.
Really great anticipation on the Z. So much so that I trimmed one small branch's popcorn into the little jar to sample soon.

Z1 is developing a sweeter aroma but I can't specifically identify it yet. It's got some floral to it but maybe it's the sweet carrot that I keep reading about. Z2 doesn't smell sweet. She's got a sharper, aggressive edge, almost a bite to her. They're at week 6 of 12/12 so they've got some time to develop and change.

Zamaldelica bushy as fuck :). She's been outside since March like Tikal and MxPCK so she went slightly in flowering mode, but she handles it better that her neighbour.

Global warming is underrated these days, so she might be ok in Belgium around end October/November, who knows :p

Here's a bonsai zamaldelica reg at 8 weeks of flower under LED, seeded (open pollination of all 5 individuals from the pack). She's beginning to fox tail, and has been stacking resin since week 3. Smell is over ripe fruit and blue chewy sweet tart. The other female in the pack is more "budular" less resiny, and smells of sweet carrot and parsnip.
