Hah! That last post (and maybe a leeeetle bit of Golden Tiger) inspired me to write myself a sig line. Feel like I need it tattooed on my forehead so people understand I'm really quite sane. Honestly.

Excellent buds mountainkush.

I’ve found that smoking this bud regularly may cause random bouts of paranoia and anxiety to those prone to it. This has been more prevalent as curing goes on.
Fresh cut plants had the raw power to carry the euphoria through the ‘noids, but well-cured plant is a different beast entirely. The kind of bud that you save for special occasions or to freak people out.

Not something I’ve noticed myself but I don’t get that paranoia anymore from any strain. That stopped when I stopped having to hide my love for cannabis. Now the racy ones that used to make me nervous just get me excited. I can see how some people probably wouldn’t enjoy this kind of weed.

I have noticed some parts of the high remind me of ecstasy. Gives me flash backs to my younger years. And, If I have enough, my face starts to feel numb.

well, im not what i consider -skilled- in taste and smells......i dont ever look for anything in that way because it seems when i do....the power of suggestion interrupts the whole damn process. when i got lilac it was like i got pinched on the ass or something. Lilac! holy shit!......as for the taste and smell of the 2 phenos ive ran? open-ended, exotic, mysterious, bona fide wonderfulnous. thats how i describe it to peeps. the effect is stunning clarity then an unexpected calmness with the slightest lethargy.

human bodies + "budtenders" descriptions of what -this/that- strain will do for you = 2x-y.
..........i have a bud that rips my sour diesel like a champ right before bed so he can sleep. i rip it and i cant stop singing or talking for 30min.............when it comes to the reefer, your mileage will vary.

and oh my, but doesnt the Zam yield bountifully?????? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 4 pheno's of Zamaldelica and they are at day 60 of flower today. All but one have thrown banana's. Now, to be fair they are placed as an afterthought in the room to mostly quick finishing indica varieties. The room is catered to the fast flowering crop for the environment, the lights have been dimmed to 75%, the temp is turned down to 74F-65F, humidity approximately 35-45%. Additionally, the Zamaldelicas are only getting about 1/2 the light as the rest of the crop. I am wondering if this is normal for the Zamaldelica or if it is environmentally triggered? Thanks. Also lights are 12/12

I have found they don't like the cold... I think Zamal was known for hermaphroditism but Dubi did a lot of work to eliminate it so my best guess would be environmental.. I found Zam a little finicky till I had her awhile... heavy nutrients cause her to push nanners too
Edit: I started growing with Zam so that likely contributed to me having early missteps

Zamal likes light but I dunno if or how them not getting enough would make them intersex.

The two I grew werent pampered and were treated like any other plant, other than the feed. If anything they did great with what conditions I could provide and werent picky at all, no nanners, no complaints, they just wanted to grow!

They are in 5 gallon pots with Cloud Coir which is 50% coco 50% perlite. I ran out of my normal new millennium nutrients and started feeding pure blend pro soil blend with liquid karma, vitamino and pure blend tea. It seemed as tho they shot out reflowers immediately after that food. Not sure if the karma / vitamino had anything to do with reflowering or the nanners.

I have been eyeing Ace's gear for quite a while.
Never quite knew which strain to do first. So many interesting choices.

The more I read about Zamaldelica the more I want to grow it and make hash of it.

This year I'm busy with Durban Poison and DP crosses. I'll try to get a pack of seeds of Zamaldelica directly from Ace this year. So maybe next year I can grow it.

@Dubi, any idea when the Zamaldelica Fems will be back in stock?

Im willing to bet if you ran the same plants without the liquid karma and vitamino in flowering, you may get hermi free plants. Once i started using small amounts of nutes without additives that push the plant through stimulants or hormones i see hermies far less often. Its just my experience and maybe something to consider. Feel free to use stuff like that during veg, just forego it during flower.

Edit: i have also come across breeders who suggest not using excess humic acids in flowering, may cause hermie traits to pop up. I think liquid k has good bit of humics.

Hey Zamaldelica tripsters,

This little beauty puts out a strong sweet (honey/pineapple) tart (lemon/fuel/pine/weedy/spicy) aroma that surprised me. It's so delicate looking, but has knock you out pungency. It is the strongest smelling plant I found out of all my starts so far this year. I really wanted a spitting image Thai plant and effect, but I'm already getting attached to this sexy lady (hopefully).

Due to having had a dozen Zamaldelica seedlings starting the last month, I've re-read a good part of this thread over the last week. I love this thread! A few things make this so good, in my opinion. Terpene got it off to a good start. The strain is really good, and has attracted a bunch of exceptional contributors/followers, many who recognize the beauty of the clear headed intense high, even if it is a wild adrenaline rush. Cradle your balls, take a deep breath, man-up, and get moving! I appreciate the plentifully displayed good sense of humor on this thread. Last, but not least, Dubi has been very open. He regularly joins in to answer questions, and has the patience to answer the exact same questions that have been asked and answered scores of times. He also has shown a good amount of thick skin. Dubi, how do you do it?! This is not just good business, but I think it reflects on his positive character. Bravo Dubi and the rest of y'all.

Looking forward to testing individuals from my second Zamaldelica grow. I will have the genetics ready to bend the winner to the Thai/S.E. Asian side. It seems Zamal is a rare breed that mixes well with Thai. More pictures to come.

Boom! And the stem smells cinch it! I’m fully expecting that little beauty to ring the bells your after ThaiBliss! I don’t want to get your hopes up too much but I know they already are
I found incredibly interesting phenotypes within the pool of traits you seem to have.
Even if you don’t like what she gives you I bet that specimen has some recessive combinations that will if you poke around in her toolkit so to speak... I did weird shit selfing and femming and a bunch of interesting variations came out.
