Zam fem ~ 12 weeks. Some amber trichs, mostly cloudy, still pushing out white pistals, a few brown pistals as well. Is she ready to harvest. Like to minimize paranoia if possible

I never got a drop of paranoia from any of my zamals. Except for paranoid my jars were soon empty. It was my go to buzz anytime I had some.

Bout 5 days maybe as long as 8..... more Amber should mean less fear... if it’s a scary one. Some are just weird instead of spooky. Almost all are fun

Ha yes we all worry about empty jars. I had read some reviews that mentioned raciness and paranoia. I'm really looking forward to sampling what is probably the trippiest weed I've grown.:woohoo:

You can start late, and it will be a bit later because of that. But Barstow? Not a problem area imo. Typically how much rain do you see there in late October up to Thanksgiving? Not much I'm guessing.

I'm in Santa Cruz and I see my Zamaldelicas being more or less done around Halloween. Three seasons so far of both regular and feminized seeds. I'm not sure I've really truly had it achieve top potential but always very close. If it's for personal and not commercial sales then you will get extremely acceptable results where you are.

To keep it below the fence you can pull down and stake the main stem and major branches. You can also top them in in July before flowering is started. Or a bit of both.

That's cool Musigny23.
If your finishing yours in santa Cruze, then I feel a lot better about it. Im not that familiar with santa Cruze ,but I've grown out door in San Luis Obispo Wich is probably very similar.
Not much rain , but it can pour. Its high desert.

Just under 4 weeks in flower, my two Zam fems are quite different. Z1 is bushy. She's shorter with a single main cola up the middle supported by smaller side branches. Z2 is stretchy, long and lanky. She's got several similar size flowers, perhaps in part due to the LST she's needed to keep her under control. Or maybe that's just how she grows.

Anyone grow anything similar to either? I assume it's different parental influence? I'm looking forward to comparing them and I've got clones of both so they'll definitely get another run.

These are about two months old, from seed. Topped a few times for clones about a week apart from each other and potted from solo cups to 1 gal pots two days ago. Currently under 600w MH in coco pots
