He said it had some special plants in there, and its not the most stable variety. He said X18 is a great line because its unique from and different origin so its good for breeding purposes but not necessarily as strong as PTK, I think he said.

Thanks for letting us know your experience, linde!
Now remember my phenos may and probably vary somewhat from other phenos. Your milliage may vary. Give it a shot.

Yeah Shiva has 2 or 3 choice ones out of the group that are distinct indica phenotypes. Will have to ask him. Thanks for sharing!

Is that a Jack Herer line? Probably really good.

Chimera was on the Potcast and in part 2, he talks about pine flavor being strains with terpenaline in the terpene profile.

So my experience cider kush , trsc Spanish version of toms x18. I only grew out three and all were female .they were a pleasure to grow outside and very uniform other than taste and smell .As described one pheno is apple and one sweet pear. The high is nice not a real up but also not down , but over all not real strong. So you guys got me thinking that in addition to experimenting with trcs Afghani landraces this year I want something more proven and strong .Way back in the day I grew a squat , fat leaved ,dark frosty plant called Tiger Indica. It had a sweet licorice taste and smell , It was extremely strong sticky and finished nice and early in mid to late September. It had big fat Tiger striped seeds .I purchased the seeds from either the seed bank or sssc back in 85 or 86, I don't remember which one and I can't find mention of it anywhere.I lost it and I really miss this little plant, I grew it straight and made a killer f1 with Durban Poison .I've successfully thawed out and grown some of my old seeds including Hindu kush and Afghani #1 their ok but not like the Tiger

I checked the 85-86-87 catalog from both the seed bank and sssc and i couldnt find any mention of tiger indica.

I do however remember reading about a tiger strain from an old catalog.. it talked about tiger strength or channeling ones inner tiger in the description haha

Obviously not a straight Afghani, but I also just ordered some Herijuana. Gotta love international mail order. 🕰️
Are you ordering from U.K.? I hear they've got Royal Mail problems with backlogs at the moment. I'm waiting to make a big seed order myself. I'm going with serious 6,. Green poison,. Lemon skunk and Skunk Special...on the same late 80s early 90s pine skunk kick as you are. Lol.

The tiger it's a mystery to me it just vanished .maybe I got the year wrong 88 ?I know I only ordered seed twice back then once from each co they were the only seed companies around .I do recall the description as early maturing pure Indica with a licorice tast

I remember in highschool all the fresh bud had tiger stripe seeds. It's funny in late 80s strong Pine and Skunk weed is all there was. Before diesels and OGs. Now it's next to impossible to find. I'm betting it has to do with dominant and recessive genes with the Pine being recessive and bred out. I'd do just about anything for a taste of that old 80s skunk weed. So many great memories on that stuff

“By working together and sharing gentica with Motarebel in 2006, I got the first Herijuana seeds (killer new port X petrolia headstash) in my hands, which we planted almost immediately to see what kind of plants would come from this. The result was wide Indica plants which gave beautiful golf ball like buds, but it wasn’t until smoking them that we became really impressed.. Heavy stoned which makes you just sit down and let everything slide off you. I had rarely encountered such a powerful Indica and started selecting plants that met our standards to grow seeds from.”

It’s an Indica with some Afghani. I think. I’m pretty new to growing in general. 🤷‍♂️

is that from barneys by any chance?
To be honest I'm not sure. I got it from an old timer up here in Northern Michigan years back. He called it Afghan Hashplant. I grow a few every so often and seed the best phenos to keep fresh seeds. That's all I can tell you. A buddy grows BC Bud Depot Hashplant that quite resembles this stuff. Might give them a try.

Sounds like a good like to have! Can you show a pic of the entire plant, or at least a few more traits?

Lot of flower bract leaves though, thats a hashplant alright!

It's in the right center buried in the jungle. Short stocky. Tight nodes. Bad pics I know I'll get a pic at harvest if I remember.
