Very consistant heavily inbred. Unique genetics. The grow journals are pretty much spot on.

Pine tar kush is quite different. Taller more vigour. More fruity/sweet smells. Less body buzz. Grown them both indoors and out. Both classic strains but 79' is more Afghan imo.
Pine Tar Kush was originally made by Tom Hill.. Its an old indica line derived from Pakistan import 1980
There are a ton of PTK logs her on ICMAG.

The Pine Tar Kush is a Pakistani IBL. It would be interesting to experience its' full blooded Indica heritage through this work. Whether it was intense heat or geographical climate, these leaves are thick and dark green. But not immediately huge like the Deep Chunk, but not too far off...

Is that from the fields around Afghanistan or refined version?
Got a good start subox. I put my seedlings in the ground at that stage and they do really well. Plenty of time before spring, you have a good early start, or are they growing indoors. Let us know how they do! Souds like a great cross.
Sourbubble definitely fits the description! Can't wait to try that in my garden this year, have some Sourbubble F2's from a friend. I think it has similarity to my cultivar which has sourbubble in it.

Are you asking about AITR?.. That pack was gifted to me between 2010-2012 from ohsogreen.

I don't really know much about them. I believe these are F1. I got them around 2010-2012. That is the original seed pack. I would assume he would have added f2,f3,f4....... If that's what they were?.
Background Info: I (Ohsogreen) picked up about 500 of these seeds
on the upper trade routes of the Indus River in Pakistan, in late
1977 / early 1978. I was there doing a Hash Deal. Prior to the Big
Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan. These were from tribal lines, grown
in both Afghanistan and Pakistan. This is all I know. Someone took them to F5.

gotta be 70 years old + so many old timers are passing over the rainbow bridge
into the light of eternal sunshine... its truely the end of age in the canna scene.
Hopefully these youngins save some things for the future ages besides cookies and cake
White Label Master Kush. I've kept this around for 5+ years and actually the plant in the pics is my ~2 years old mother, made a new one so it was her time to bloom, finally.

Okay. This question is not intended to open a can of worms. I grow indoors exclusively. With that being the case, should I consider something other than the ‘79 XMAS?
Or maybe I should be more specific. I want afghan, a piney profile and maximum sedation so I can actually sleep.
