Deep Chunk is a classic affie from the 80s... love it or hate it but in my opinion is still one of the best representations of the old hashplant cultivars.

Mazari from Real Seed is legit too, more modern though. They used to have Shebergan too. GN Collection used to have another Mazari cultivar but I've seen mixed reviews.

Unfortunately the availability of hashplant landraces is very limited nowadays so there isn't much to choose from.
Smoke wise, I believe you are very right. I like deep chunk, and (pre-98) bubba kush the best for late at night. Cheers

Black Domina may not be a pure Affie but it is great dope and it can be very potent. Especially the old school cuts. If you have insomnia issues, look no further. A couple of tokes before bed and a couple more if you wake up the middle of the night and you will sleep like a baby.
I’m glad I saw this thread because now I know about the Sweet Seeds strain and I’ll pick it up in the hope that it is a good representation of the old school Black Domina. That would be very fine indeed.😉

Thanks Morion. He had some nice photos in that thread. I read through half the thread and he started another grow. I didn’t see a smoke report. He reported the yield, about 3 ozs. each but no smoke report.
I did a search for a review of the strain and found this: https://potguide.com/strain-profile...#:~:text=Flavor,one reviewer of fancy cheeses.
Sounds pretty Affie to me. I think if you were looking for an Affie , that this one would be a good one to try. It’s been around for quite awhile and it appears to be well thought of. The plants looked great in the photos from the first thread. Looks like a safe bet to me.
