I am not reading any plans into Putins quotes like you are. To me his words essentially reflect those of volounteers in Donbass.

Yeah, those are ukranian estimates lol. As for the ammunition, no it is not an estimate on my part it was stated by Putin last saturday.

you do realize that this is putler's address to the russian people justifying the "special military operation" in ukraine.

he clearly considers ukraine to be part of russia and laments the loss of the former grandeur and power of the ussr.

i'm not reading anything into anything, you are not reading what's there.

please read those two paragraphs again and tell me if you have any alternative explanations for them.

and, nowhere in this speech does he utter the word "nazi".

on the ammunition subject, if putler said it, it must be true, right?

So what if he doesn’t utter the word nazi to instead use nationalist radicals to describe them? These words describe the same thing.

I don’t see anything about any plans in those quotes. He speaks about shared history and mistakes of bolsheviks that contributed to the current situation aside from your american meddling in Ukraine.

Like I have noted before, Russia is not a party opposed to peace through negotiations. But Ukraine and their american handlers are.

Which is a person who doesn't believe in Russian imperialism. A person who doesn't think Russia gets to decide what it's neighbours can and can't do.
Said the US imperialist. Nazis went to genocide russian speaking ukranians for eight years on behalf of americans who fund them, arm them and train them - not to mention whitewash their crimes.

So now that we're defining nazis I'd like your opinion on whether Rogozin is a nazi or not?Kinda seems like one to me, but surely there are no nazis in Russia? They definitely wouldn't make a deputy prime minister out of one, right?

He was Putin's deputy prime minister from 2011-2018. I don't know if he is a nazi, but he does seem to like the "roman salute" and, uhm, white supremacy.

I am not familiar with Rogozin and your picture do not show. But if you want a definition of nazis then I will give you this one here:

Nazis are US funded charicatures of historical national socialists, who follow their ”father”; genocidal war criminal Stepan Bandera.

Turns out that Rogozin is indeed not in favour of nazism but of denazification. Here he explained what it means for Ukraine.
