Your probably right, but the ones i have grown from Dinafem, have all the traits that are spoken about, and when i tasted it i was blown away, i luv that hashy thought provoking energetic high. If its a knock then its the best ive ever known

Excuse my ignorance but what we are talking about here is far superior to any seeds form of cheese , dinafem jumped on the band wagon like everyone else when cheese became a household name. As we've established the cheese stink was bred out of seedlines in the 90's, I don't dispute you managed to find a stinky pheno in any seeds because the cheese terpenes seem very prominate in the DNA and usually overpower anything else , in fact every Cheese in seed form I've grown out stinks like Fuck but shit stinks fuck too ...

Then i guess i will never know what real cheese is.

Well that definitely is showing similarities to the clones shown... as for claims that the quality be equal to or better without ever being there n smoking the old girl that would be impossible to say... all you can say is it's stinky n good...

And the other side ... nobody tried his.... it is possible to get struck by lightning, win the lottery, shit the cubs won a fukin world series... if dinafem had the real cut and s1 it who the Fuk knows.. sumthin better stinkier stronger may come up could take 1 seed or 1000s .. what's the possibilities of all these other cuts being s1s of the original.... how far back can they be traced ..you say similar but not what you say is it... where were they when the original was around??? They obviously showed up later to the scene.. seeded packs crosses s1s. did anyone try n just reverse the real what happened???

Glad I got no dog in this fight or real info to add.. I'm definitely no cheese expert but I am enjoying watching this go down... but at the same time would like to see it end sooner then later with you finding what your looking for the original...

You did a good job of filling that screen, but that doesnt look like cheese to me, it is hard to tell from your pics, maybe she might be a stinker or display some of the above traits, but as cheesegez said unless you have smoked the original you cant really be comparing a seed find to her unless you know exactly how the original grows smokes and the true stank she puts out.

I agree with what your saying Stoney, anything is possible. But youve also got to remember sometimes people read things like smell and traits then see what they want to see in a plant.

What noodles is saying about his Dinafem seed find is like the equivalent of me going in to the Girl Scout Cookies thread and saying ive found the forum cut in a pack of BC bud depot seeds

But i do understand what your saying anything is possible when it comes to popping seeds. He might find something that looks similiar in structure but the taste and smell could be way off. And how can you compare something if youve never had the original?

I will tell you who does have a good cut that most likely came from seeds is Moses Wellfleet, check out his thread. The cut he has shares alot of traits with the original.

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=329542

Generally though when it comes to seeds of cheese, anyone whos tried the original can tell the difference between the real and something from seed. Couple years back when cheese had a real hype every tom dick and harry was popping seeds because they couldnt get the cut. Those fuckers are the reason everyone complains about fake cheese and how it isnt the same as it used to be. Overtime theyve also devalued the price of it, now cheddar is worth fuck all compared to what it used to be 10 years ago.

Ive smoked plenty of fake cheese over the years, big buddah, barneys, greenhouse and a couple of other cheese crosses and they were all shit, they just didnt do it for me.

If i ever lost my cut and for some reason was unable to get her back the only seeds i would pop to even try and find anything close would be from Underground Originals, their UGORG #1. The UGORG #1 is their blues crossed to the cheese. A few years they did a bx project on the Blues and got her in to seed form. I tried their blues years ago, it was ok they did an alright job but it wasnt the same as the blues i used to smoke, their version had more of a berry flavour and less of that stank. UGORG#1 is essentially their own version of blue cheese. I imagine you would find way better phenos in a pack of UGORG#1 than in any pack of barneys / big buddah etc. Ive been wanting to grab another pack of their blues and chuck some pollen on my cheese cut for a while now.

Obviosuly you wouldn't find the clone in seed form, but im positive that cross would put out some stinkers. If theres anyone who wants to try cheese/blue cheese i would recomend UGORG#1 as the place to start hunting, they have plenty of good reviews etc and i would HIGHLY recomend them over barneys/big buddah/greenhouse/dinafem etc

Here in Spain many people grow Cheese seeds and Cheese crosses because of the so many offerings made by all theese spanish seedbanks, but all I've seen of them seemed to indica to me. Some were good but none excellent. The most cheesy one I tried was a selection of Blue Cheese, this was the only one that impressed me.

There was a cut floating around labeled as uk Cheese and its more sativa, a bit lanky and grows in zig-zag, I've seen in it a little purp in some stems also, it grows those little foxtails and flowers in ten weeks. Serious smell, people could smell it from the street when i chopped.
I don't know if it's exodus or brightside or anything.

I've tasted a few of theese Cheese seeds and crosses that had almost the stink of the cut, but it's not just about the stink for me but also about that full taste that coats your mouth. Not justo power but also all the hues that Cheese has.

Cheers!

I like Spencer. the dude from homegrown fantaseeds had access to some decent gear too..them guys are the ones I expect to see Amsterdam classics from in the future....anyone remember twizla ?,, I saw Spencer grow a few good twizla plants....good people and I'm 99.9 sure any cheese they had would be from homegrown so it's Defo b's as I know they got it from when b was passing it about Amsterdam town

btw...does anyone know where Alicia Bridges is...the girl who used to work in the flying Dutchman with the dreadlocks.

Dunno if i got it myself yet mate but stranger things have happened. Im testing 5 different cuts at the moment, 4 from members here and one from an old bloke who uses the growshop i do. He from Hemel Hempstead just up the road from Luton, has kept it yonks and swears blah blah Me and growshop owner are testing them all. We both grew up round here in the 90s so we know what we are sniffing for :)
I like the idea of spreading it far and wide so theres no room left for knockoffs lol Ive already promised one to a dude in S.A if i can find her.

Well Spaventa if you do happen to come across...which i hope you do, I am more than interested. A lot of the folks round here luv the cheese that ive provided so far, to learn that its just a fraction of the real deal, has really got me going. I always thought that the reports i had read about, did'nt use carbon filtering. Hearing things like, neighbours could smell it through brick walls. mine just smells earthy-dusty -hashy with berry undertones. you certainly have my attention mate.
All the best in your search for the original.:tiphat:
