Looks awesome with the purple on the leaves. Crazy how yours went to flower 6 weeks after mine and they’re finishing up at the same time.

i know Kush it's weird..that yours are still up....are you getting flowers with that hard feel to them? i did sample a few weels back as you suggested...it was delish ! now very eager to sample the full development Tiikal
re: ripening early

.i replaced my cmh bulbs that were probably fully mellowed from longish use.. so perhaps my light intensity was up...dont have a meter...and brand new ACE canopy has been a bit jungle style.... ( and that is exactly what i signed for..hehe)...so for example i think i slightly cooked my Zam/kc by raising her up for the finish....
on top of that i averaged 68f-to low 70's for a few weeks ...kinda on purpose as kc and kc x's started to ripen....
then add the potential light leak...that possibly helped bring out the herm stuff
so perhaps what i got are some plants that got hit with a pollen blast accidentally....thus they are only making baby seed (i think) as the pollen was not purpose timed...so the ones that maybe got hit and or stressed...have some swollen bracts in places...but the female flowwers keep going right around it...

so i think pollinated or herm stress plants can over ripen quickly....i remember an early venture with herm bag seed.... some of what is happening is here now is similar
it will be interesting to dig through this plant and see what happened internlly....looks like sweet tikal fem flower most but not all the way... her clones vegging nicely... flushing that excess N (i admit i love compost) and giving more mellow light for her last few days
terps are still in place...if i detect a fade...will chop sooner

Hi StrongTree,

Yours is finishing really fast :) I would recommend you to flush her abundantly before harvest time, as she looks a bit heavy with N storage. If her terpenes, potency and quality of the effect are of your taste then i think she would be a fast interesting Tikal pheno to keep as a mother for future grows.
thanks Dubi...gave her a big drink of water today...i will back off the N earlier...it's my soil mix ,,,i;ll get the fade going on the clones...now that i have got to know this wonderful plant

Hey Strongtree,
Just a rare long flowering one I guess
The buds are pretty solid, no real give to them. I’ve had some temperature issues too with heat from an unusually warm winter but things are back to freezing cold like normal again.
Sounds like a lot of variables at play there. Just make sure you give the tent a good cleaning before you restart. If you do get some baby seeds you can always just use a vaporizer.
It’s hard to get a good pic of the whole thing at the back of the tent and I can’t move it.

This has ripened a lot just since yesterday.

Even the little popcorn buds on the bottom are solid

Thanks guys, she just got chopped tonight after a day in the dark.
This was 5 weeks 18/6, 3 weeks 12/12, 13 weeks 11.5/12.5
The strawberry got a bit of spice to it in the end and seems like this must be the strawberry incense. My wife says it reminds her of picking strawberry’s in the summer. We’re both pretty excited.

It’s kind of a mess from me tying it all together to get it through the door

The Tikal from seed (centre front) crashed in my flower room, I guess she is a couple weeks ahead of the clones. I gave it to a friend but the friend has been crashing at my home for a 1 month or so, so there is that :)

As for the 5 big ones, we are at 6 weeks today.

I tried another white balance setting to try and get better colours.

Btw, I can't use any phytosanitary inputs as there are common lacewings living in there (thrips in mother room so not taking any chance). They should turn into chrysalids in a couple weeks and by then, it would be flushing time. So, except the organic materials in the soil, I will not be using any fertilizers in this grow.

Hello there,

My mom olfactive expertise confirmed what I smelled last week, peach indeed. She kinda looks ready at 10 weeks but she's throwing some more white pistils here and there, gently foxtailing (nothing like Zamaldelica obviously). Trichome wise, I'm starting to see some ambers. Should I leave her a couple more days for those last thrown pistils to mature a bit? First time I grow Tikal indoor so I wouldn't mind some advice from those more experienced with this strain/phenotype.

As I gave them a couple weeks of PK 5-8, I started flushing with pure water yesterday. I have a feeling those thrips predators I put in there ended up going away when I had to hide those plants outside (municipal agent visit), hence why I used organic PK after all. I hope I didn't start flushing too late...

370g final count, my impatience during drying not included ^^. I guess that’ll be enough until next harvest. I feel like I’ll enjoy this one very much :)

Next one Ace Mix and then Green Haze Malawi. I have Malawi x PCK, Tikal Peach pheno, Zamaldelica and Green Haze x Malawi outside under greenhouse (call me crazy at 50N) and I have cuts of Snow Moon in progress for the garden too.

looks awesome, benoitV, and i hope to read your thoughts on the high after they cure for awhile! :)

one thing i am curious about with this strain:

has anyone found a sedative/ couchlock phenotype of high? i read a few people mention "relaxing", but i hope that doesn't take away from the clarity or give it a burnout feeling later in the day. nothing worse than doing a wake-and-bake only to turn into a limp spaghetti noodle two hours later...

anyway, i'm rambling and i doubt it, cause this strain sounds amazing!

I hope you have a greenhouse, Best of luck with that line up.
Looking forward to see if you can get them to the finish line.

Peace GG
