So I switched those to flowering 2 weeks ago following Dubi advice, and they stretched all right :)

They should be ready early April.

Hi StrongTree,

Nice to see your Tikal as well! :)
Yours looks really close to the Tikal R7 mother of peach incensey aromas, hope that's the case. She will define properly her terpene profile and terpene potential in the last third part of flowering (like all marijuana strains). Hope she is having a good flowering stage!

the peach smell has indeed persisted since early flower...i also thought of two other smells that are secondary to the peach... one is Bay Rum for after shave... and the other is Drambuie

They look really wonderful, the terpenes sound especially enticing! Congrats on a nice looking girl, hope she finishes well

Almost 4 weeks of flowering for those ones. Looks like the stretch is finally done.

I feel a plenty harvest coming :)

Hi StrongTree,

Glad you found the peach smelling Tikal pheno and other interesting terpene profiles in her sisters as well. Looks and sounds delicious :yummy:

Hi Dubi,

They look healty indeed but thrips invaded my mother room. It is entirely possible they invaded those too when they were still in that mother room like 1 months 1/2 ago.

I almost killed all my genetics (Zamal/Thai, Tikal #1, Tikal #2, Snow Moon, "Ace Mix", Cheese and Grapefruit) trying to treat them with some pyrethrum I had left from when my cat got fleas. I will get some common green lacewings (Chrysoperla carnea) soon to finish those fuckers.

I had put a plant of Tikal #2 in flowering so it got back to mother room, I still had some Tikal #1 clones and I was thankfully able to find some cuts on my compost outside of Ace Mix, Snow Moon and Zamaldelica which to my surprise came back to life, kinda surprising since they were cut for at least a couple weeks. I guess the mantle of snow, the heat and the nutrients in the compost kept them semi alive enough to give me some roots after about 15 days in a propagator. I just hope I didn't save something else than Zamaldelica or my Zamal/Thai pheno is dead (still got 6 seeds in worst case scenario). Snow moon and Ace Mix were easy enough to recognise (I cut the top the day before for the later). I didn't really care about the Grapefruit and Cheese from Organic Earth as I have fem seeds in the fridge for those. But I'd be super pissed if I lose one year of Ace genetics selection...

Hi BenoitV1984

That's right, the Tikal regular stock you are growing came from the same reproduction from where the Tikal Breeders Pack was produced, so your Tikals would belong to the 3 described phenotypes in the Breeders Pack. Although i assume your plants belong to the more modern Tikal lines, at least based on their tamed hybrid structures. Later they show great central american sativa qualities during flowering.

Love the way you have train them to full up all your indoor growing space, they also look super neat and healthy, just perfect for a great flowering stage! ;)

Hi BenoitV1984,

I also foresee a lovely flowering stage in your garden! ;)

15 weeks in flower and my Tikal is almost ready. Still some new white pistols at the tops of the colas but as you go down the branches you can tell it’s basically done. The strawberry scent is getting some interesting background notes. Really excited for this one, it’s been pretty good smoke since week 10.

Hi Mountainkush,

Your Tikal looks excellent and very close to harvest time :)
I'm surprised she took so long to finish ... usually Tikal rarely goes longer than Panama for example, both finish after approx 11-12 weeks of flowering.
Glad you got the strawberry smelling pheno ;) I think you will love the effects of this pheno!

Hi StrongTree,

Yours is finishing really fast :) I would recommend you to flush her abundantly before harvest time, as she looks a bit heavy with N storage. If her terpenes, potency and quality of the effect are of your taste then i think she would be a fast interesting Tikal pheno to keep as a mother for future grows.

This one smells amazing. It’s like strawberry candy with a little spice?

I was gonna get some Panama with my next order and do a run with the two together.
They should have similar eating habits right?
