A picture of perfect health @splinter7 👌glad you are revisting Tikal again.

thanks dubi. my dad really liked it and he's getting older so I need to run this one for him again. the high was pretty stupifying last time. my buddies were telling me that it would take them 3 hours to pick out something to eat. the level of indecision it induced was wild.

but, ya...i think I already overfed them once since that pic. hit week 5 and tried to up the pk....i got just a touch of edge burn on couple leaves. this time the ph meter is working fine it seems.

finding Tikal beans has been difficult lately since it was retired. I already got this cut up to a buddy of mine that has a male so we can try to preserve it. hope you don't mind.

Thanks for spreading the genetics among your friends @Cactus Squatter 🥰 was she planted late in the season, or was she a late ripener ?

Beautiful sativa dom expression in early flowering on your Tikal @splinter7 :) how is she finishing ?

I started my last Tikal seed and she is way different than the last two I grew. I can’t remember the exact time on my first one but it was similar to the second which took 21 weeks from clone. This one seems like it will be a lot closer to the norm for this strain.
Much wider leaves on this one.
I thought this would be an interesting addition with my A5 haze crosses since this has some nl5/haze in it.

Still remember your previous great Tikal grow @Mountainkush glad you decided to pop your last seed  looks like the girl was eager to flower!
Hey dubi
I’m having an issue with this one that I’ve never seen before and not sure what to do with it.
For the last couple weeks I’ve noticed a lot of pistils turning brown all over the plant from top to bottom. I opened some of the calyxes and found seeds starting to grow but I can’t figure out how this is happening. I was thinking there might be male parts inside the calyx because I can’t find any exposed on the plant but there wasn’t any.
Also I have five other plants in the tent that don’t have a single brown pistil so it’s left me very confused.

took down the tikal this week at f109. i would have taken her longer, but she was pushing some bud rot due to crazy weather, super huge buds and she started to throw a lot of nanners.....quite a bit, but it didn't happen until about f108. bud smell was of guava, not sure if sweet or sour. i tried a little that dried overnight. it feels and looks a lot like unpressed mexican brick I would get in the 90s. mild high, mentally stupefying. left a small amount of sandy keif when ground. it's not very sticky, but yield looks rediculous. I would say the last one I ran was more preferred as it was super strong.

i was going to keep this cut, but since it nannered up it will have to go. this is my last tikal. i did find a source of Tikal in the US...apparently selling fems of Ace's gear. At least it's around if I want more. Though, i think i saw a seed or two in a couple of the Tikal colas.

If you've already found seeds forming in some of the calyxes, then there was a source of pollen at least 2-3 weeks ago. So @Mountainkush, inspect all the plants in detail looking for male flowers at the base or nanners forming in the buds. Also, consider whether any external pollen might have been floating around recently.

Congrats on your harvest @splinter7 A pity to hear this latest Tikal wasn’t the one due to its effects and producing nanners. Hopefully, you’ll find something closer to your previous favorite girls from the strain in the remaining packs available through our distributors. Thanks for sharing your experience and enjoy your bountiful harvest :)

Hey Dubi
This one’s a real head scratcher. It just keeps progressing over the whole plant and getting worse. I decided to get rid of this one just in case but after 3-4 weeks of this happening, the other 5 plants are unaffected.
No male parts found anywhere on this plant or any other.
I haven’t flowered a male plant since July(separate tent with hepa filter)and haven’t used any pollen since September when I made pck seeds. I can’t imagine anything from that surviving till now. And none of my pck plants had any seeds except for the few buds I manually pollinated.
The part that really gets me is that plants that are touching this one have all white pistils still.

It’s like immaculate conception or something.
