Hi RulaTone,

Greetings,

Here are more pictures of this years male from my personal line. It looks like the Thai from Trainwreck and the S.E. Asian genetics from Burmese have combined into a plant with wicked looking leaves:

I've been told that one cannot grow weed indoors as good as outdoor weed... and I grew the best weed I have ever smoked indoors that was one step up from Thai Stick. I have been told that I was a fool for thinking I could grow trippy weed in a Mediterranean climate this far north, but I don't believe it. I have smoked world class weed that I have grown in this area. Not only is my personal line going to be trippy and Thai Stick like, it is going to look the part, as evidenced above.

I have been looking for a better location for a commercial grow operation than my property, and possibly a destination resort similar to Red Rider's quest. Here is a place I love at almost 2,000 feet above sea level. It will be out of the fog that I suffer at my current location:

Looking for trip weed, and financing.

I have some plants in my greenhouse that are 4 feet tall and I don't plant outside for another week or two. My goal is 22 foot tall plants this year. Ha! These are Bangi Haze crossed with a Nepalese x Jamaican male both acquired from ACE Seeds:

picture.php

Here are plants from a Nepalese Jamaican reproduction from the very special NepJam mother I found:

picture.php

The fat leaf trait is dominant, no surprise. Here is the mother that proved to be energetic and clear:

This particular NepJam mother is very sensual. A patient of mine with back pain from stress consumed some edibles from this very plant, and went to get a massage. She beamed with delight from the memory of it as she told me "Wow!!! It was wonderful". Enhanced senses are part of my definition of trip weed.

EarlyJam is coming, slight variation of ...Green Label's Double Jam, from this plant and the 60's Bushman's Jamaican Lambsbread I have...

Happy Trip Search,

uv light

uv light

Started using uv in grows around 1989/1990, first with GE incandescent tanning bulbs, then clear mercury vapor and most recently hortilux power veg t5s. Like Riddle-me I can say the increase in potency is beyond doubt. Two sites with some info: solacure.com and eyehortilux.com. I sent an email to solacure to nail down some specifics and may use their bulbs instead of the hortilux. Best regards

Hi Hu73,

Welcome, and thanks. I'm a believer. For outdoor grows, getting out of the fog is for improving the mold situation, and getting higher up improves the UV, night time cooling, and excessive heat. I think Red Rider and Riddleme are on the right track. My next indoor grow room will have an enhanced near UV and UV bulb.

There is a Reggae festival around these parts, and one of the performers mentioned the intensity of the sun around here, likening it to her home in Jamaica. It is not close to the equator here, but it is so arid and clear in the summertime that the intensity of the light is heightened. It is also mountainous, with the lowest altitude possible is around 1,100 to 1,500 feet above sea level. I suspect the sweet spot, so you don't excessively shorten an already short growing season this far north is around 2,000 to 3,000 feet.

Best...,

SAGE at day 37 today. If Pine-Sol made a hard candy, it would smell like this fragrant SAGE plant does right now.

ThaiBliss- I had a slight chuckle at your expense when you mentioned being "out of the fog that I suffer at my current location" - because if you keep getting better weed, that fog is going to continue to follow you wherever you go! ;)

Thanks for checking in Onefinity. Nice to hear from you.

Hey Homebrewer - Thanks for posting the picture and description of SAGE. It is looking quite good. If it is O.K. with you, please post anything else you might have flowering.

Sorry to hear of the Zamaldelica loss. That is truly trippy weed. I hope your Malawi works out for you.

Good to hear from you Riddleme,

I'm looking forward to seeing you post pictures of these strains on this thread. Especially the S.E. Asian kind that I love so much.

Thanks Riddleme,

Exciting start to a long project. I'll be asking about that all the way through. Kudos for tackling that strain.
:tiphat:

I hope to have time to post pictures this weekend of some of my plants. The Ciskei has changed a lot. The leaves have gotten very narrow and long. The skinniest leaved plants I have this year. One still has some lemon aroma, but has developed a very strong menthol aroma. It reminds me of Hawaiian. That one is very lanky and tall. The other female looking one is short and bushy. It is smelling like menthol also, but still has a lemon dominant aroma.

By the looks of Ciskei and the Queen Mother plants, it will be a miracle if that ripen fully outdoors here.

Looking for trip weed in these Mexicans. Jarilla from CBG and Oaxacan and Jalisco from Eskobar.

The seed descriptions are all for trippy highs. I got the most tripped out high ever off of unknown Mexican back in 1975 and would like to experience it again.

Nothing came close but Hawaiian was trippy but not the visual treat that the Mex was. Wavy edges of stuff with the Hawaiian but not making the world look like a painting which the one Mex did.

Was likely Michoacan but damn if I can get any seeds of that now.SAM_0589 (1).jpg

Had a friend make some shatter with the bottom half of my 15 week Zamdelica (Thai phrno?). This stuff creeps on slow and leaves you with a high that warms you out entire body. Kinda similar to mdma.

Hi Yesum,

Looking good. Please keep us informed on the progress. The first year I ever smoked weed was mostly or entirely Mexican. I remember that laughing my ass off was the dominant trait. I thought all weed was like that until smoking Colombian, which was dreamy and narcotic, and very novel. I wish I had those Mexican strains I was smoking. Nothing made me laugh more since then.
