I don't care what anyone says, my nose is as good as it ever was and is only getting better with age, like a fine connoisseur. Smell memory is the strongest form of memory, more than any of the other senses.
I think a persons experience with vast amounts of different strains of marijuana only make his smell better through the years. Sometimes I will smell a bud that has some skunk in it but it's smell is not there all the way.
And i know in my mind exactly what i am looking for when i am looking for a old school RKS skunk. It's a smell that is burnt into my brain forever. And a lot of others peoples brains too i think.
We need that dank skunk smell more now than ever, since it has been lost and breed out of existence. TERPS have more effect than we can understand at this time, TERPS and THC have a co-dependent relationship they effect each other and react to each other. So lets bring the weed back with the most infamous terpene profile of all time and see where we can go with it, THE MAGIC OF THE SKUNK CAN NOT BE DENIED......P.S... to all the young heads that think rks skunk is a myth or a old strain that can't compare to all the "NEW" great genetics there are today, your dead wrong, and I can't wait untill you get your first wiff or mind blowing toke...It will change your life to know what really good shit is.

Generally speaking the older you get the less sense of taste and smell you have. Nerves die off as you age. Hence this is how many elderly folk can eat extremely spicy foods like it's nothing; they can't feel the burn Like us young folk can.

The broadleaf true "skunk" varieties vary likely in Sam's opinion is like pushing rocks uphill.. not only do they yield much less in pretty much all situations but more importantly it was a fairly boring high without the benefits of say a mexican yield.. Chimera and others have pinpointed myrcene as a heavy component in these type of plants makeup but there is something else,, something that is an antagonist to the quality of high and there is like zero other explanation why these chemotypes have all but vanished from the cannabis population worldwide. Folks still have a hard on for them because they represent in many folks fond memories,, their first experience of something truly and vastly different back in the 70's,, other than that and sheer divergent germplasm there is not much value there so the smart money advises getting over it.

there was nothing hardcore about any of the skunk terpene profiles back in the day from chrismas bud (heavy pinene) to hawaiian descendants of exceptional thais it was pretty much stomped on at will.. That is the low down,, confirmed over and over by it being pretty much gone as well as not only folks like Sam's words but their actions.. Hate to say it as i have spent most of my life preserving such chemotypes maybe moreso than anybody,, but none the less it's the truth dear sirs..

My seeds were always guaranteed to germinate 99%, I used to say 100% and just give a few extra so they got over 100%.
No one ever asked me for any replacements in 40 years of seed sales, millions of seeds per year, few can say that.
Any creator of any variety can call it what they like, you should know that....
