Bc, I was very impressed with flodica. As far as nutrient sensitivity its the most dificult to grow djshort strain I've come across but IMO its also the most rewarding other than blue velvet which isn't around anymore anyway. By the second time growing it I came much closer to dialing it in. The herb has an excellent buzz for an indica. Its one of my favorite flavors of all herb. I describe it to people as all overtone with no primary tone but still a strong flavor like you'd expect from an indica. You just can't put your finger on the main tone of the flavor. Whatever the main tone is has an earthy quality but the earthiness is still an overtone. Some are slightly earthy/sweet, fruity but the sweet/fruity overtone normally disappears in the cure and a sweet pine earthiness remains (I have some curing with cuban cigars I smuggled back from brazil. Both flavors are similar sweet/earthy and compliment each other quite well). If it had a higher ceiling I'd call it a sativa buzz while it is non-paranoid and non-energetic it is also non-sedating and very social. I'm not sure what this means but I prefer tropical sativas yet I prefer the buzz of flodica and blue velvet to flo. Not that I really care but the bag appeal is outstanding. I have yet to test any hybrids and will let you know when I my seeds from the next generation are ready.
For the life of me I cannot get my dc's and ptk's to sex in veg. Not that I view that as a problem. I always considered this the result of them selecting against autoflowering males. Maybe there's something I'm doing differently or incorrectly. Perhaps I'm just not letting them veg as long as you are?
