I’m baaasck… this has been quite possibly the easiest week I’ve had in years. Between the issues of getting my truck fixed, cleaning up at the warehouse, meeting with engineers and the well driller to put some water out on my property at my old office. I spent the day yesterday hauling this box out of the woods in order to have a well installed… that’s another $20,000 out of my pocket I didn’t count on. I’m still fighting severe fatigue but I get as much as I can get done when I’m able to… The last time I left the house other than the gym was to go to the fights last Saturday night with Lesso and a bunch of my friends… I miss you guys dearly and hope to be able to post more frequently than I have been…
Glad to see your mug here brother 💕

Another year has passed by, and so quickly too.

Local Jazz Festival is going on. Suppose to meet
some friends in a couple of hours.
It is hoary hot and if it doesn't cool down, imi will
remain in her comfy AC apt. instead.

The mom and her dooder bugs at Jazz Fest 2023.
She was my side kick. Loved going w/ me anywhere
meeting new people and seeing (sniffing!) new things.
Going solo this year but, she will always be w/ me in spirit.

I have gotten use to having it with me and use the thing for directions all the time when I should just figure it out on my own. Makes me stupid I don’t know where I’m going without the girl on the phone telling me every turn.
‘I don’t pick up phone calls or text while driving. It’s too crazy around here but I see everyone doing it and hope they don’t crash into me.
‘also the folks that talk on speaker phone while I’m shopping for a new dress. WTH, I have to listen to their whole conversation so they can hands free shop… 🤪
No it makes you smart to use your smart phone that way and the maps have gotten much much better these days. I use mine for driving directions as well when going long distances from home. Locally I seldom need directions. What I have found amazing is that not only are the maps/directions very accurate and reliable these days but they will also warn you of speed traps, traffic jams, construction zones, etc. At least the map feature on my iphone is that way. I've never owned anything but this one iphone XS Max so I can't say if the map/direction feature on android based phones are equally reliable.

I thought I was going to lose Dutch a week ago, which prompted me to get off-line and spend time with him, but it seems like he’s coming back a little bit, but still on shaky ground. I pray that he passes in his sleep and he doesn’t have any pain to deal with, when I went in into town with Ivan today to load that box up on a flatbed, he was so obedient he made me … one of the last posts I remember is that Dog’s puppy Bubba was puking all over the house…🤮

Nettles nickname in more states than I can count is fireweed
I wouldn't know that but now I do.
I think I understand the relationship between fireweed and stinging nettle.

Once a wildfire has past through an area, the following spring some bee keepers like to put their hives out in the burnt off areas, as fireweed might grow in abundance and it's honey is quite good.

I always take a book. Been doing so for 40yrs. plus now.
That way I need not touch any thing laying about in those places :)

I've had a mobile device for about 14 years now. I was told I needed
to have one for 'emergencies', sigh. Driving a hooptie, being on my own
whilst out and about etc., etc. So, I gave in.

Having one has saved my biscuits a couple of times when ye
old Chevy didn't want to start or... when my brakes went out.
Was glad for it then.
All these years later, I will still leave the house and forget my
phone. I go back for it now though.

Most of us grew up w/ a phone attached to a plug/ wall and an
annoying curly cord. I'm of that era and agree w/ Pute...
there is a time and place for mobile phones/ tablets.

Driving and texting is my pet peeve.
I see the gal down the street leave her house and
is texting as she's pulling out and down the road.
I'm thinking... you couldn't have done that prior
to entering your several ton machine?
Instant karma came a knocking one day.
She rear ended someone and totaled her nice
Lincoln. No one was injured.
What angered me is... she didn't learn, I still see
her pulling out w/ her phone in her hand.

Just can't fix stupid.
you can with a baton

OH... @SubGirl Congrats on your well earned status :)

Even though I've only been a member here just shy of 5 years,
I have been reading and learning here since '09.
All the information I've gleaned from the page/ members
here taught me how to grow my own cannabis and be
a better grower along the way.
I became comfortable and confident over the years to
even begin helping other gain their confidence also.
That ^^ is the best part... to give back.

This year I've been seriously considering giving back
monetarily. There is no way I could ever pay $$ for
all I've learned here but... It is damn time I at least
pay my dues.

Now that I've finally got my finances in order, I am
going to celebrate my 5 year membership by showing
appreciation for all the benefits IC Mag has bestowed
upon me by putting my money where will help to
support the site and keep the lights on :)

Gypsy should never need to dip into his personal
coffers to keep things going here. I aim to do my
little part to help that not to happen again.
Thank you imiubu but the 420 club tag was good for me. I agree we should all support ICMag for all the benefits we get from it. Not sure how much I will be using the benefits of the new status as this place is huge and this thread is as much as I can fit on my plate right now.

I have not been a member here as long as you but was on another marijuana site with some of the old guys on this thread. We kinda broke away from the other site as it was not fun anymore with drama and headaches. Some of the guys on this thread taught me everything I know so far about weed. They were with me cheering me on from the beginning afraid of it all and kept me calm when I stressed out.

ive come a long way with them and they are like brothers to me In more ways than one. I’ve grown to enjoy their company and checking in on them each day and yes even love them in a crazy internet sort of way. They have been there for me too in my times of need. And sisters too now that you and some of our other new friends have joined us. I enjoy reading all the posts from everyone.

puff puff passing left ✌️🥰
