25 + yrs ago my Dr. put me on depakote because I was 'depressed'.
Ha... no, I was in a fucking toxic relationship.
Gained nearly 80 lbs. became truly depressed + my hair began falling out.
Got rid of the dead beat toxic asshole... whalla... I'm not depressed afterall.
Again, just say no to these drugs.
Take a look at your life and fix the problem.
These drugs make you think you really are going crazy.

depression is no joke , same with anxiety
sometimes humans may need a little help to get motivated to fix the problem rather than treat the symptoms…a catch 22
i had some bad anxiety 30 some years ago and I thank god there were drugs to help me get through it all
I agree.
Short term is one thing but they tend to keep people on these drugs
long term and never address and correct the root of the issue.
At least, that was my experience and the experiences of others I've
spoken with who have had long term side effects due to long term usage.
Glad you were able to find relief and get to the other side
