thanks indicalover, these plants have been a joy to grow, i can't keep my eyes off them :) I didn't think there was much variation at first but once flowering progresses you can see a bit of difference between the phenos. They are all nice looking and resinous but as you can see some are more short and squat than others. But all typically indica. Nice strong aroma as well. Haven't seen any mould on them but they have been protected under plastic from rain.

Hi All! Just curious....what ferts do most of you Kush fans use????

I use miracle gro (all purpose plant food) to good success outdoors for younger or smaller plants. All my grows are outdoor and small scale as i only grow for my own personal needs. The occasional application really gives the plants a boost. I like to switch over to something more organic such as well rotted animal manure when the plants are older.

I don't have any experience with growing plants indoor so i can't tell you anything about ferts for indoor plants if that's what you are after.

peace

anyone have the low down on Platinum Kush? i have some clones and am wondering genetics and/or harvest information (weeks to flower, optimal conditions, etc.)

PM me with any info on the strain that might be helpful. Thanks!

Hi BudZad7, this current grow is an indoor soil - my first indoor soil. im using a soil mix much like Blazeoneup's. mine includes: Miracle Grow Organic Choice Garden Soil, Miracle Grow Organic Choice Potting Mix, Fox Farm's Light Warrior, then about 10-20% Big & Chunky Perlite, and then a small ration of some Organic Vermiculite & Organic Pumice.

the soil mix is supposed to nourish the plants from seed/rooted clone till harvest, without adding any nutes or addatives. i, however, am using Multi-zyme, Root Excellerator, and Advanced Nutrient's Pirahna for the beneficials... and using Advanced Nutrient's Mother Earth super Teas (Grow & Bloom), AN's Organic B, and I may use the Iguana Juice (Grow & Bloom) if the girls seem like they want more nutes... im wanting to stick with organics as much as possible this grow. kind of doing an experiment/comparison to my last Advanced Nutrient DWC hydro grow.

Good day to all!

Tom, I have never had any mold problem growing pure haze (or other tropical sativas like nams, thais or columbians). Worms or other animals could bite them but mold is not propagated even under the worst rainy conditions.

On the other hand, Deep Chunk seems quite sensible. She has not received direct rain water and mold is propagating inside some of her dense flowers. Will try high calcium feeding for next grow.

Pine Tar Kush and X18 are resisting better mold attacks here.

Here are DC flowers producing huge resin production outdoors, late flowering.

Here's raco's X18 clone, resin detail before harvest. Im loving her dense sweet aroma and thick flowers. Looks like a promising indica smoke :rasta:

I just noticed some mould on one of my sensi seeds hindu kush (the more mature one) so i chopped off the top where the mould problem was. Its still ultra sticky and nice smell even though it didn't get to mature as i would have liked. The others are proving more mould resistant at this stage so i'll be selecting seeds from the most resistant plants for the future. The "chunky" female isn't showing any mould signs yet. Maybe she is so dense the moisture can't get in there (i'm hoping).

OG is clone only so anything from seed is not the 'real deal' OG. Some peeps rag on Dr. Greenthumb but most his gear is good.

This is a documentary of this British guy looking for Shangrilah in the Hindu Kush region of Pakistan.

Its very breathtakingly beautiful and exotic.

I happen to be Kalash myself and have lived there for many years.

I thought you would want to see where these Kush strains come from...

WATCH THIS VIDEO!

can anyone recommend a seed shop online or something, and recommend a strong indica strain fom seed that might go 8 to 9 weeks

i can recommend hindu kush by sensi, she is quite a potent plant if you get a good pheno. I'm sampling some right now and i can't get this grin off my face. She's a quick finisher and very resinous. Also planetskunk seem to be a reliable source to buy seeds from if you are looking at online seed shops.

I think your talking about Hunza.
That place was supposed to be the origin of the Sangri- La story.
Isn't Bin Ladan supposed to be in those mountains? lol
