After reading this entire thread I would say the majority of the people who post in here are elitists who like to think their weed is better than everyone elses. Cali Kush's will live on forever in the growers that grow them. Several growers in my area keep a large variety of kush crosses in mother form for cloning- including me. Bubba, Pure, O.G., SFVOG, Master, Hindu... The list goes on.

The simple truth is that people will always LOVE to smoke (and buy) kush varieties, regardless of what they are bred with to make them yield or taste better. People know immediately what is a kush and what isn't, its in the smell and smoke, and when it doesn't have that signature taste I don't think it should be considered a kush.

I think the kush that California loves to smoke all day is special to us, you can find it any clinic and almost any dealer actually. Even though it is a long lost relative of what really exists in the Hindu Kush range, its unique to us like fish and chips to British people. We interbreed them to see if we can get a more unique kush and it works, there are many clone only cuts you can get from clinics which are kush based and produce amazing smoke.

i see how the pure kush got the name as it .probably was sold as pure kush from what the nugs look and taste like, i bet only later they relized it was coming from a full sativa style growing plant......same with the sfv .......this thing is sativa aint a drip of any kush in it NO way.......so skinny and weak and fragile......................the bubba could pass for a real kush tell you bloom it then its sat mix comes out

i believe most the cali kushs are just weird strains that came from small towns and .needed a name.idaho colorado .kentucky
..........and now if its really great cut and hashy ............its a kush

thats why now i juts stick to callin um the OGz and BUBBA no kush any more they aint kush ...maybee bubba has some thats about it

would love it even more if you down flashed it a bit ogra bro! try to put some with toilet paper or tissue infront of the flash, often gives better and less shiny pix

yeah, I dont like how the pics look shiny either...I will try the tolilet paper trick next time...I'm still gettin used to this new camera...~ogr

i used the method yesterday and you can really tell the difference, easy and cheap. may take a lil time to get used to and perhaps something els than toiletpaper can be used, hehe. but it was in reach because im having a nose cold, hehe

a blue Rizla works well, taking the intensity out and dissipating the light. usually one will do but if you flash is particularly intense then either double them up or use the thicker reds (just don't make joint with the reds!). pretty appropriate for taking pot shots too! jehe

also depends a lot on type of camera, use of external flash gives you more opotunitys to adjust the flash. but i think most poor growers just use direct flash and its here some filter is needed.

Great thread. Took me a while to get through it, but enlightening info.

I am suprised that only Afghanicus had posted Sensi's Hundu Kush since it has been around a long time. Very good looking and thank you.

A question for the Kush experts. I have seen said in the forums that people have "HEARD" Sensi's Kush is not the greatest, but how many people have actually grown it and have first hand experience with it? It seems that people with first hand experience have found decent pheno's and believe it worthy. I would expect it to be a worthy addition to the garden, and a building block for some good projects. Or is it just a commercial attempt to make some money, and not a true Kush representation? I will find out shortly, but I am looking for additional feedback on this strain, and not just what people have heard. Finishing photo's if you have them please. TIA
