The US government spent billions if not trillions on the war on drugs but the cartels spread the seed far and wide by exporting cannabis.

Genetics we saw in the 70s still exist both in house and abroad from the locations they originated from.

The largest threat to these genetics was not the US Government but came more from the Dutch hybrids that people imported in.

You only need to look at Jamaica to see this you see NL plants Skunk plants growing were only sativas once grew.

I'm not so sure it's that simple.. How long does it take for someone to find these plants that we use to have. No one is finding any of these high quality phenos that were once not so hard to find.. Just ask any in here that know what the quality was like back in 1980 and if any have been found the same since. None I know have. I've found plenty of killer plants, yet none were as good as the plants we had in 1980.

I rarely see Sams respond to any post.. The only time he does is in his thread and uses edit posts when he is responding to someones post. It's an odd way to respond for sure

I did not add remarks under what you posted. All I did was remove the 2nd set of the same pics and add whats this? as as you didn't put any info.. Your def having issues understanding plain english.

The quality has diminished same like haze. In many cases the grows got shut down but in most cases the demand became so large they started using import seed as in thailand with laos seed. By the way, rob clarke seen this exact scenario coming in '78 before it happened lol. Visionary sum bitch. I believe he called it the "insatiable appetite of the west" ie you bastards are to blame lol.

I have spent over 20 years trying to re find and collect old things i lost to poor storage. I have also been on a mission telling people how to store their seed so not to loos things. I have also told people how rare these lines are now and they need to protect them from big canna.

Your basing that on what you see on forums Hammer most people i know dont post or are members of a forums some dont even use the net.

I have collected a few gems and continue my quest quietly as i am sure many others are to.

When i first joined the forum around 2000 i thought i could order pan red /Thais / Hawaiian sativas all the old lines still how wrong i was.

I have yet to see a real Panama red plant posted like what we grew i have yet to see many lines we took for granted on line all i see is the names posted.

Location plays a big role Hammer age to a degree but your not going to find the old sativa gems in say Seattle or Canada or Virginia .

We have the weather here and home grown has been a big thing here since i started smoking. Yes some grow commercially but most grow their own.

People here rate there smoke on the 3 tear scale GOOD / OK / SHIT no hype i never knew what hype was until i joined the forums good weed is good weed and lasts the test of time.

I'm not giving up. I'm also not kidding myself, it's way harder to find plants that were easier to find back in the day. The odds I locate even 1 is unlikely..
