The US is already as socialist as any socialist ever dreamed. But maybe if Bernie told that truth, he would be hated for it.
Colleges teach you to think for yourself and to question everything. This is how you learn, if people keep giving you the answer instead of looking it up yourself you don't retain that information as well.
This is why Republicans have a distinct disdain for college and education in general. Can't have people running around asking questions instead of just swallowing the kool-aid.

I'll take a stab at your questions.
Biden has been out of political office for almost 12 years now. No campaigning or running for office during this time. For me he seems a bit rusty.
When you look at Bernie he's been campaigning for pres the last four years. Doing numerous rallies. When you listen to him speak at rallies it's pretty much the same content from rally to rally. I would bet he could give a rally speech in his sleep. When Bernie debates it's just his campaign rally slogans rehashed.
I agree with you on your last paragraph. It's not the message Bernie brings it's the messenger. He's an antagonist who loves to have a us vs them mentality. He's not good at getting groups of people who slightly disagree with him together. It's the reason he's been in congress for 30 years and is pretty much a lone wolf. Obama had the ability to rally people and bring them together Bernie doesn't. Obama did more for healthcare in this country in 12 years he was in political office than Bernie has done in his 30 years of being congress.
