what happens if you cross 2 f1s or 2 s1s together? any chance of semi stable offspring? i need to sort that out.
f2s and s2s . they will be unpredictable and more so if the parents were polyhybridwhat happens if you cross 2 f1s or 2 s1s together? any chance of semi stable offspring? i need to sort that out.
maybe more chances for stable outcomes if crossing two s3s togetherf2s and s2s . they will be unpredictable and more so if the parents were polyhybrid
two seperate s3 lines ? as p1s to make a fresh hybrid? or s3 x s3 ibl to make s4s? the s4s would be lacking vigour and close to bottlenecking . depends on numbers and selectionsmaybe more chances for stable outcomes if crossing two s3s together
that would be a healthy polyhybridon a more concrete tip
if i have (lebanese reversed x manipuri) and i cross it to lets say (nepalese reverse x moroccan)
probably total cacophony
yeah 2 different lines/crosses is what i wanna combinetwo seperate s3 lines ? as p1s to make a fresh hybrid? or s3 x s3 ibl to make s4s? the s4s would be lacking vigour and close to bottlenecking . depends on numbers and selections
awesome. i have a plan.that would be a healthy polyhybrid
(lebanese reversed x manipuri) x (nepalese reverse x moroccan)
good point.Uniformity is good for predictable results from seed. But if you're doing a pheno hunt for a keeper mom, or trying to find something that does well in your area, or something like this, maybe uniformity is not so good... depends.
that would be back to first generation polyhybrid .yeah 2 different lines/crosses is what i wanna combine
like an f1 ?that would be back to first generation polyhybrid .
polyhybrid f1 . not f1 written on its own. maybe there is another initial i could use, but i'm unsure. f1 written on its own is formed by non polyhybrids p1 x p1 heirloom or ibl or truebreedinglike an f1 ?
f1 polyhybridlike an f1 ?
