been busy stood in horse manure compost all afternoon preparing for potatoes . one third horse manure, one third weed free topsoil , one third stones and compost . rough mixed . i will top dress in pellets once the plants are growing if needed . very simple farming methods . the pots i'm burying into the well aged horse manure to wick moisture and feed at will. feed granules probably won't be needed . managed to recycle the old broken flimsy greenhouse . still needs a bit more strengthening. all the joints are rusting .

It was also manure day for us lol although rabbit manure in this case + locally sourced compost.

My neighbour mixing the shit into the soil. He does tractor stuff for me and I pay him back in man hours and weed.

On Monday I'll go to the market and get some plants. Pepper, onions, lettuce, calabacín (courgette) and probably eggplant, not sure what the Mrs will grow this season, it's her who takes care of the vegetables. Tomatoes of course because we live in tomato land.

Pollinator houses are full and they're gonna start to come out. This is what we use for pest management. This and californicus mites for spidermite prevention.

good work rev . the stacked bricks . is this for a fire or to compost? it gave me an idea to build a jenga style block wall that allows me to remove a couple of bricks where ever i choose to dig or remove out some aged compost , without the wall collapsing .

in the uk we have two types of fish and chip shops. chinese and english traditional. both types are good and both very different ..

this is a chinese chip shop dish in the uk. known as the 'salt and pepper' box . it costs 9 uk pound , but it takes me two rounds to eat it . basically salt chilli , garlic onion mixed through with fried chips, chicken , ribs and even a spring roll lol. spicy and tasty. with the curry sauce that comes with poured over , it is tasty fast food . a deep dish . weighs a tonne just holding it

Years ago a Chinese(novice fryer) guy took over a fish and chip shop where I was. Anyway, I go in there every so often and then he’d have another burn on his arm. I’d say what happened there then…..

I'm doing fish & chips today too. At home, no shop.. Super fake, breaded trout, frozen chips (french fries really). But I got some vinegar for the fries, and some canned peas.

some of the frozen at sea fish can be good. haddock, cod, or even pollock for fish and chips . oven cooked is good too.

That's just a makeshift place for burning the branches I prune from the olive trees, palm trees etc. 55 trees so it adds up quickly. I had some unused blocks in the warehouse so I used them for this for the time being.
