Yes but I've been trying to look up what kind , looks almost like a sweet bee but I'm not sure .apparently there are over 4000 native bees species in North America. It's a Beldia bee lolIs it some kind of smaller native bee?
Here in Australia there are some tiny little bees smaller than a fungus gnat.

Its really self maintaining. I don't harvest because of lack of time, but every year or 2 I rotate the bottom bottom box to the top to allow space for the bees to continue to build upward and not look for a new home. I am in the process of moving the bees to a new box my mom and dad got me for Christmast a couple years ago. The old boxes are starting to degrade.Been toying with the idea of getting a hive for a while now.
How do you find it?
Could also be a predatory wasp. Its easy to get them confused because they look similar and mimic each other. Not sure if you had a firm ID on Belida bee. Never heard of that. We have a couple similar green bee/wasps.Is it some kind of smaller native bee?

My Aunt has dark complection even though grandma and grandpa are not dark at all. Sometimes it pops up, we have polish and german background I think in that side, maybe scottish too. Its been a while since we looked at the family trees.i often get asked "which country do you originate from ? are your parents foreign ?"
i take it as a compliment , i must be exotic to them

too technical for me . i have no idea myselfdoes anyone in the collective have an idea how to run a 380v electric motor on 220v?
i read a bit online but dont know how to go about it.
i could buy a phase converter which is cheap, but it looks complicated.
i opened the little box on the back and it looks like it can run on both voltages.

the plaque on the motor agrees

it looks like a quick fix but of course i dont know shit so it might not be a quick fix.
if i could keep the motor as is and rewire for 220v i could save the money from the converter and buy a smaller servomotor to operate another part of the machine separately at variable speed.

Not even going to get below freezing at night potentially. We'll probably see another round of cold and snow in Feb. after that passes before its over.
ive checked out a pretty good description wich made good sense in theory.too technical for me . i have no idea myself
