Hello y'all.. glad to see everyone back in the swing of things, things are looking good. I'm starting my beans now, unforatunately about 2 weeks later than I'd of liked to.. but regardless I officially have 3 beans popped. :D

I'm planning on vegging the little suckers as long as I can before putting them out - and I'm pretty sure I can get away with vegging them for 3 weeks and then get them out at the end of may. Anyone think this might be too late?

Anyway, I'm ganna veg out 10 and put them out in three seperate plots and hopefully this season I won't fall victim to damn dirty deer.. On that note I welcome any and alllll recommenadations and suggestions for warding off deer.. I'm ganna take every measure I can this year.

Lastly - I was discussing with my friend about how Blackberry bushed help conceal your grow from helicopter infra red cameras - is that true, or are they pretty much already above that? I'd appreciate anyone who knows anything about thisss.. Good growin y'all!

After a week of sweat, pain, and backache, I am 100% planted, and all plants are well watered for the next 10 days. I can rest easy now....

Holes this year are 2-3 cubic feet each, bottom layer is heavy on the perlite. I used 100% Fox Farms Happy Frog soil, amended with Kelp, Alf-alfa, Lime, and Rainbow mix Grow... which is an organic 5-5-2 blend. I carried all the dirt in broad daylight, through a blackberry cave I made through a wall of blackberries 10ft. high... what a treat :)

I will be installing irrigation this year, it will be a trick I know that saves me a lot of work ;)

I hope to visit the plants less than 5 times for the whole season.
Fertilizing only every 2-3 weeks..

Organic, Late May is plenty early! You could put plants out till about July depending on how large you want them.

Neptune, Way To Go! I have a question though, do you ever have problems with bugs in the blackberrys? I know when I grew next to blackberry bushes I got many more pests on those plants.

HediMonster, Yes they are beauties!

Medjool, You always have the best pictures! How wonderful that picture is, and the name fit's well! So is the rainbow Dr Jay looking down on your grow? I'm so glad you found the thread been wondering if you were going to pop in. Thanks for inviting me back.

BackCountry, Looking good Bro!

Mistakes can work to our favor sometimes :) How do you nominate a picture for picture of the month? That would make a great poster or T-Shirt. Is the Alibi one from last year or is it a Spring thing? We miss you, we are going to be traveling though the first part of August on our way to Regae On The River. It's our 10 year anniversary trip, next best thing to Amsterdam but a Dam close second.

Peace, SSSSpaceman SSSpliff

Looks like I will have a conflict with the hempfest this year :( Here are some pictures from an outdoor guerilla grow. This is ECSD from clone. There are others at this site, but I will wait until they are bigger to show.

100 feet off of a major hiking trail...... hide em in plain site I say.
