already planning for that. Have a spot for them thats about 10' x 12' with tile floor. Im just planning on leaving them in there that way it will be easy to mop up any mess.

I am a breeder and have a puppy kennel. Concrete with a spray down hose....makes a huge differance.

I wish i had a concrete kennel to keep them in. I thought about the garage but it gets too hot in there during the days. So a tile floored room inside the house suits them for now, until they get to their new homes.

pittbulls are banned over here in the uk and have been for quite a while but over the last few years your starting to see them on a daily basis.

even a couple of friends have got em.

Where i am in the uk pitbulls are very common unfortunately so is dog fighting and badger baiting.

Some of these dogs are huge they are trained to fight on steriods and all sorts of shit, its a sick way to get your kicks if u ask me.

The sadest thing is these dog's never had a chance in life with the wankers they have for owners.

Hi folks....

I have a story about my bitch I'd like to share. This past Spring brought hordes of nesting birds to my property. And every nesting season there is always baby birds that fall from the nest too early. Three differant times my lil pit named "P" sniffed out the birds and layed with them. Amazing. The first 2 times I didnt realize the gravity of the situation. The 3rd was a heart-warming revelation.

About 3 weeks ago on a hot afternoon I noticed "P" laying out in the full hot sun near my storage shed. I blew it off thinking she is just weird. A couple of hours later I noticed she was still there so I called her to me. She wouldnt move. Just layed there wagging her tail whinning like Lassie. I got up and hobbled to her thinking she was sick or hurt. When I got to her I saw 4 lil baby birds huddled up to her belly! She was protecting them as only a mother can. It brought tears to my eyes. Anyways...I got my wife to put the baby birds back in there nest..I got a pic of "P" with 2 of them. Doesnt she look proud?





If you bully owners have any similiar stories please share them. It helps to educate ppl that believe the horror stories that follow pit bulls.

zamalitio - it was in the 1930's that pitbulls become recognised as there own breed!! & yes american staffys & pitbulls are relatively the same breed!! but my point was... we are not allowed to import or breed pittys in my country...so i want to do some selective breeding, to get all the qualitys i want....so i can have my own line!! does anyone remember Bronx from gargoyles??? well thats sort of like what i can imagine the breed turning out like!! i just love all pit breeds!! & the line of those dogs is so watered down & fukd up, time for a new breed of pit dogs!! ones that dont have mass media manipulation above their heads...wanting to chop them off!! i have never found a more loyal & child safe than a staffordshire bull terrior!! pittys are cool....but they get annoyed alot easier!!

google Bandogs, the solution to your problem locally, still not a pit dog, but pretty. genetics are probably very unstable, as this isnt an old craft as far as i know. google it. bd

now ive had friends with pits all my life, red noses especially...a good friend of mines has the spud mckenzie dog(FORGOT BREED NAME) brednal striped and they just had pups...the mother is the sweetest thing(sativa, i didnt name her) really awesome dogs and its sad because i love em and im extremely alergic(very sad, im a dog person at heart, id have 3 if i could).

I recently read an article about another canaria presa attack here in the US...whats the deal with this breed??....both times the dog went for the throat and killed a female(first case:dogs were bred for fighting, second case the lady got the dogs for protection from her crazy husband)...beautiful dogs too but what makes them so aggressive? is that an isolated/owner thing or is this breeed particularly dangerous??

The Spuds dog you speak of is called a Bull Terrier. They are a fun dog for sure. The Presa Canarios were created in the Canary Islands for a farm dog. They come from Mastiffs and Bardinnios. They were later used for dog fighting thru the 1940s when it was banned. Since then they have become relativley rare. They look like a Giant pit-bull...ranging from 120 to 180lbs....and they are no more dangerous than any other dog. Its the owner, not the breed.

i never seen any presa canrios in real life and i was born in the canary islands..they are beautiful dogs the brendel ones look sooo awesome! i figured taht was the case SS(bad owners)...but from that article it seems like the female owner was not making them mean or anything, the first case in california was a different story all together....

The dog has a bad reputation. There are a zillion breeds out there so there is no reason why somebody has to have one of these dogs. A lot of people want them because they they do have that rep which is totally fucked in the head.

Any time somebody puts up a front that is based on intimidation and fear they loose the right to complain about the downside of that front.

Get another kind of dog if you don't like it. The fuckers earned their rep too. One of them killed an old lady where i live not to long ago. PLenty of incidents of them goin after kids.

Ya don't hear that nearly as much with most other breeds. I'd vote to ban them in a second. Had dogs all my life too.

But owning one is also stupid. Your pit bull bites somebody and there's a good chance a lawyer is gonna teach you a very expensive lesson.

Has anyone noticed that the more they legislate this shit the worse it becomes. I feel that dog fighting is and always has been morally reprehensible. It would kill me to watch a dog fight. However, it seems that when dog fighting was legal it was more a method for selecting breeding dogs with strength agility and gameness. The dogs produced weren't uncontrollable psychotic masses of muscle and the fights didn't harm the dogs to anywhere near the extent of todays fights. Now they're banning pitbulls and this will probably just take things another step in the wrong direction. People who own dogs that may need obedience training won't be able to do so. Dogs won't be socialized out of fear of being arrested, etc.

is this thread revamp in light of that 4 year old girl getting mauled to death by a pit bull. It's not even the dogs fault though, it's the scumbag owner who abused it and made it violent. There was a recent case in the states where a couple put a pitbull pup in the crib with their baby. The puppy was recently weened and thinking the baby's toes were nipples chewed them all off. First of all it's amazing these people slept through their baby's toes getting chewed off and put a teething recently weened animal in the crib with their baby. Its just so sad that this could've been a puppy of almost any breed but since it was a pitbull its just one of thousands of attacks that make it to the news because it was a pitbull. Its just like when minority children are kidnapped its ignored by the national media but a blond haired blue eyed child gets kidnapped or murdered and it's a national story. Like jean benet ramsy for example. Why is this girl a household name ten years after her murder yet in that timespan countless minority children have been murdered or molested thta we're completely unaware of.
