Oh yeah! I love my dogs! That one is a mixed shepherd and he does an excellent job watching out for daddy! Man's best friend besides God Almighty and our Lord Jesus! I was happy to see they are doing well. We are forecast for another inch or so in the next few days! This plot is on the edge on somewhat of a low spot in the field that stays wet. Its a self watering plot, but it can get a little wet when it keeps raining every day. Hoping it doesn't get to wet.

The trench I dug last year is working well, allowing water to drain off the plot!

That trench is a good idea. My plot is on a slight incline so I don't think flooding will be a problem for it. How tall is your fence?

Its just regular 3.5-4 ' tall chain link fence. I'll work on that update in a minute.

Got a couple more overhead branches pruned back and ran out of light. I have just a little more pruning to do on the tree in front. Plants are growing well. A few are up to 8 inches! They are growing an inch or 2 a day, about as much as turf grass does! Growin' some grass! Stay tuned! Will finish the update soon! :smoke:

Getting sleepy again, but with God's help, I made it! Finally got time to sort out and resize all the pics. I will have to check this weekend to see how they've been doing. We've been getting a little rain every day or 2! Looks like its going to be a moist summer!

I am excited about the plot this year! Got it in on time, caught the wave! This weekend I spent several hours with the pole pruner with both extensions getting more light available for the plants. This will be the 4th year using the plot, so it has gotten grown up a little bit.

After digging the garden I made it into a little bit of a mound. It was just dry enough to dig. Walking around the outside of the garden, I was sinking in the soft soil, and then it became a low spot, collecting water and getting too wet. To help water to shed off the garden, I got soil from a hole and topped it up! Trench is working good at the low end of the garden, so we should be draining now!

I found a big rock while walking around trimming trees! Its a really nice big sitting rock. Great for using as a stepping stool, or a pillow for naps under the cannabis trees!

Really looking forward to seeing what phenotypes pop up this year! the sativa candy spice has great medicinal potency!

Enjoy a walk through Pipeline Freedom Gardens! Have a good weekend, brothers and sisters! Stay tuned!

Plant with a little different morphology from the high density flower House indica plant. It has a wide single leaf for the 2nd set of leaves.

Another seedling with happy, wide leaves

Carved out the plot for more sun early in the season. Will allow it time to grow back and camoflage the area. Been raining a lot, so I bet in 2 weeks it will be grown up again and ready for pruning!

Very cool, I wish it would rain just a little around here but instead we got more storms today. I'm hoping it will settle down long enough to get the site prepped. Hopefully this week.

How many hours of direct sunlight does the plot get? Looks fairly shaded but obviously the plants like it. Another great thing about Indicas, they need less light than Sativas.

Thanks brother! I know what you mean, the rain has been regular lately, and some folks may be getting held back! I had to cheat it to get them in! It was pretty wet, but I got it done. When you prep the plot, it needs to be a little drier, but just get it done if its the soil isn't sticking to the shovel.

Not sure how much light it gets. What cannabis likes is morning light. In the afternoon shade is good to keep temperature down and maintain soil moisture. Once they grow up a little taller, they will get into some better light. They get filtered light in the afternoon through the walnut tree. Is pretty cool.

I always think about the big mexican grows in US National Parks that I've seen video footage of. They just plant it up right in partial shade, and they were growing fine! Thanks for the grow tip CBS news! :smoke:

Got a couple shots I will drop in here tonight, getting sleepy again.

Crop is moving right along! Weather has dried out for a couple days here, and temps aren't too hot! Farmers are busy! It has been so wet, everyone is behind in planting. Everyone was out today planting seed and doing cultivation work!

Pruned some tree limbs again today! Plants will get their first top dress feeding next weekend! I'm thinking I will top the first wave of plants, and the ones behind it will be left untopped. That seems like it makes sense to me to let them catch up. Listen to the teachings of a great and wonderful God! :smoke:

27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.”

The Lord Our God
Passion
Promise maker, promise keeper
You finish what You begin
Our provision through the desert
You see it through 'til the end
You see it through 'til the end
The Lord our God is ever faithful
Never changing through the ages
From this darkness You will lead us
And forever we will say
You’re the Lord our God
In the silence, in the waiting
Still we can know You are good
All Your plans are for Your glory
Yes, we can know You are good
Yes, we can know You are good
The Lord our God is ever faithful
Never changing through the ages
From this darkness You will lead us
And forever we will say

2 Chronicles 20 New King James Version (NKJV)

Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir Defeated

20 It happened after this that the people of Moab with the people of Ammon, and others with them besides the Ammonites,[a] came to battle against Jehoshaphat. 2 Then some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, “A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from [b]Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar” (which is En Gedi). 3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set [c]himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. 4 So Judah gathered together to ask help from the Lord; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.
5 Then Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord, before the new court, 6 and said: “O Lord God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You? 7 Are You not our God, who drove out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel, and gave it to the descendants of Abraham Your friend forever? 8 And they dwell in it, and have built You a sanctuary in it for Your name, saying, 9 ‘If disaster comes upon us—sword, judgment, pestilence, or famine—we will stand before this temple and in Your presence (for Your name is in this temple), and cry out to You in our affliction, and You will hear and save.’ 10 And now, here are the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir—whom You would not let Israel invade when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them and did not destroy them— 11 here they are, rewarding us by coming to throw us out of Your possession which You have given us to inherit. 12 O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.”
13 Now all Judah, with their little ones, their wives, and their children, stood before the Lord.
14 Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, in the midst of the assembly. 15 And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 16 Tomorrow go down against them. They will surely come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the [d]brook before the Wilderness of Jeruel. 17 You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.”
18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before the Lord, worshiping the Lord. 19 Then the Levites of the children of the Kohathites and of the children of the Korahites stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with voices loud and high.
20 So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” 21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying:
“Praise the Lord,
For His mercy endures forever.”
22 Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated. 23 For the people of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir to utterly kill and destroy them. And when they [e]had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another.
24 So when Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude; and there were their dead bodies, fallen on the earth. No one had escaped.
25 When Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away their spoil, they found among them an abundance of valuables on the [f]dead bodies, and precious jewelry, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away; and they were three days gathering the spoil because there was so much. 26 And on the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of [g]Berachah, for there they blessed the Lord; therefore the name of that place was called The Valley of Berachah until this day. 27 Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, with Jehoshaphat in front of them, to go back to Jerusalem with joy, for the Lord had made them rejoice over their enemies. 28 So they came to Jerusalem, with stringed instruments and harps and trumpets, to the house of the Lord. 29 And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries when they heard that the Lord had fought against the enemies of Israel. 30 Then the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet, for his God gave him rest all around.

Plants got a chance to dry out the past few days. Will be good, because it will encourage a larger, deeper root system as the roots follow the moisture in the soil profile. Oxygen to the roots is fuel to these plants! They like moisture though too. This spot is self watering since its near a low area along the side of the field. Got a good thunderstorm here today after all that sun, so you know what that means!

Need to get out there and fertilize as soon as possible. There are a couple rounds of rain in the forecast. I thought I'd wait to fertilize when I was there the other day since the roots were young, it as hot and dry, and wanted to minimize the risk of animals digging. Yes something got through the fence to dig last year!

Getting ready to plant veggies for my porch garden. Everything is on schedule with the veggies. They are ready to be moved to the garden so I better get busy!

June is one of my favorite times of the year! God takes good care of us! Jesus showed us the Way!

John 14 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Way, the Truth, and the Life

14 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many [a]mansions; if it were not so, [b]I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
The Father Revealed

7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”
9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
The Answered Prayer

12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you [c]ask anything in My name, I will do it.
Jesus Promises Another Helper

15 “If you love Me, [d]keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another [e]Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
Indwelling of the Father and the Son

19 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. 20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and [f]manifest Myself to him.”
22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?”
23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.
The Gift of His Peace

25 “These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. 26 But the [g]Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 28 You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because [h]I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.
29 “And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe. 30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me. 31 But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave Me commandment, so I do. Arise, let us go from here.
