I saw that too, neither FSU rookie has taken any preseason snaps, little odd i think but that's how mcvay rolls, if a rookie is a projected starter he spares them extra wear and tear from games that dont count.

It's a meme by now that any coach, especially offensive ones, that are remotely associated with mcvay will quickly get a head coaching job somewhere in the league. Even coaches who arent coordinators (QB coach, etc) will get interviews for HC jobs, or will be hired as an OC for another team for a year and then get a HC opportunity.

yeah its a new twist on the kickoff and im kind of liking it , they also modifies the onside kick rule to where a team has to let the other team know they are going to try and onside kick

there was another thing i saw during the rams game where they had a virtual measurement to spot the football
i guess the balls used in the nfl have a chip in the so they can tell where the ball is on the field by using some kind of rfid technology

from what i hear its not that great a school unless you are a hard core christian
not a huge harbaugh fan but i respect him as a coach
im pretty sure he got his start coaching here in san diego at usd before moving on to bigger and better things

I still cant get around the fact that the kickoff teams line up mostly on the receiving end of the field, just looks strange to me. But i guess they did it for safety reasons, to prevent the max speed collisions from before, so this rule is probably here to stay.

thats little whit! i referenced him the first week because he was a fearless route runner going over the middle with no regard for his safety and making a few nice catches
he has some drops but a lot of those looked like bad balls thrown by the qb
im not saying he is the next nakua but he can catch the ball and would be a good slot reciever, plus i guess they ply him on special teams too
i think harbaugh started off at usd, its a smaller school but is catholic so it is $$$

Whittington is listed as 3rd or 4th WR on the depth chart, how much he plays depends on how much tutu atwell plays, atwell is the speed guy. I suppose if Mcvay goes 4 WR more often then whittington would see the field more too.

I believe i misspoke earlier when i said they use the chip ball to determine goal line scoring, previously it wasnt that accurate but this year the nfl is using a hawk eye camera system to better track the ball, i think a few preseason games theyve used it in lieu of a chain gang. It's supposedly accurate to within half an inch but it's still in the testing phase for now, maybe in the future it'll replace chain gangs entirely.

Truthfully tho, he got a somewhat raw deal with the pats. His best season was his rookie season under josh mcdaniels as his OC; jmc is a turrible HC but a good OC. His 2nd season he had matt patricia and joe judge as his offensive coaches and they werent good, his 3rd season under bill o'brien was sabotaged by bad OL and WR talent.

he should have the inside track on being the #3 but like you said i could see mcvey running 4wr sets or rotating him in on third downs, he seemed pretty fearless going over the middle in the couple of preseason games ive seen him in

If Kupp is fully healthy, he can stretch the field a bit, and puka caught a fair number of 20+ yd passes last year, so they dont need to have tutu draw safety coverage. In all likelihood, puka kupp will miss some snaps or even games with little nagging injuries so it's always good to have receiver depth.

They say the chip is under the laces, and it's 3g so doesnt affect throwing. If anything, the laces weigh more than that.

Eventually, once the tech gets good enough, i expect officials will be replaced with cameras, AI and lasers, just like u said. I think in baseball they want a robot/computer strike zone, because humans are just too fallible.

So yeah, i think bears beat chiefs tomorrow. Also packers arent playing starters which is why they only managed a safety vs the broncos. Funny thing about the spiders, @D. B. Doober . There's a very big one hanging around the pathway between the azaleas that Bonnie the Dog and I travel every morning to go poop outside. She had her web off to the side of the path for a few days. This morning she had moved up and across the path with a brand new web. As long as the web is high enough above my head it's cool, but I have many sticks available to clear low hanging webs.

The colonoscopy is no big deal, @shithawk420 . The prep for getting one is the worst part, and that has become much better over the years. There are very specific instructions about what foods to eat and which things to avoid eating beforehand. The GoLytely drink will have you pissing out your asshole so the Doc can look at your pretty pink colon lining.

Start eating right. You can cook. Make good food and feed yourself. There is no excuse not to take care of yourself. Time to look the bull in the ass and realize it comes down to you. The procedure itself only takes a few minutes and then you end up in the recovery room to wake up.

I have had a couple of serious gastro intestinal malfunctions about 10 years ago that now require endoscopy and colonoscopy every 3 years. I am due for them again this year.

putting the chip under the laces makes sense creating a center point that they can use to determine to spot of the ball, (X, X+1, X-1)
