well i finally got round to making some baguette on saturday. I had intended to enjoy it with some nice camembert and liver pate but sadly the cheese had expired and was not good for consumption anymore. But luckily I still had the pate and something else. I usually only do this sort of thing at around christmas / new years (day) but...
the result was that I ate far too much bread ( I normally don´t eat any bread at all!)

here´s a pic - one of them ended up longer than it normally would so I had to put it in diagonally which was fine. The end bit on teh right one looks worse in thepicture than it actually was btw
today was unhealthy again- spaghetti with porcini sauce (too bad I had no white wine) and some grano padano. It tastes much better with parmesan but hey ...
I´m pretty sure you´d have enjoyed it as well.
These thing s are a bit of a pain to make but they´re well worth it imo. SO much better than the rubbish offered in shops.
I´m considering baking a regular bread using the baguette technique . I wonder how it would turn out ??
