remember baba, tonight is the time change so i will be up an hour early so 06.30 isnt that early
i have no problem drinking vodka that hour but will have to be sure to pace myself so im in top shape for the rams v packers game
maybe i need to make a mess of biscuits and gravy! that looked awesome and i love gravy on anything but like you said i might slip into a food coma and miss some of the action

its a dorado baba, aka mahi mahi; we have those here in the pacific and they are good sport fish and good eating
the cheek meat of most fish are pretty good but those things cut up into nice steaks

those were tough times but people were different i think and did some great work back then
/we still have some publics work project sidewalks and stuff around here in san diego
not to veer off topic too much but this is the solution to the homeless crisis, put them to work and teach them skills like a publics work program

ninja rarely killed baba.usually they did recog but they did do assassination from time to time.i remember one story where the ninja waited for a shogun to take a shit and waited under him to kill him.nasty.would i kill someone for just money?a lot of money.its easier when its personal.

i bought a couple tickets to see Blue Oyster Cult for 18th at the Rhythm City Casino.$60 a ticket.not bad.havent been to a concert in a long time.maybe ill get lucky and get a hotel room if you know what im saying.

as lame as this is pops im gonna go with my mom.shes probably already seen BOC.my mom and i will probably get high and ill try to smuggle a pint or something.id ask my brother but hes lame as hell.maybe ill meet some chicks or something.mostly an excuse just to say i did something this year.

gonna have some taters for sure.had the tbone dry aging in the fridge with salt a couple days.ill take pics if it turns out good.so you drink vodka at 6:30 in the morning too pops?we would get along just fine.i was up all night drinking and didnt go to sleep until 8 this morning.had to take a sleeping pill to make sure i wasnt up all day and wake at midnight.

Yes it is bragging sized and it weighed a little over 50 lbs. I fought the fish for about 15 minutes. That was caught in Costa Rica. The year before we caught two blue marlins at the same time. Each weighed an estimated 450 lbs. I had the first fish hooked and the mate then announced "Double, double..." and handed the second rod to my friend. An hour later we had caught and released about 900 lbs. of blue marlins.

Cecil was a great neighbor and his stories were always interesting. There were several characters that I worked with that made the job a lot of fun.

The Seminoles had a rough first 3 quarters against Pitt. The score updates stayed 10-7 for way too long and I was afraid FSU was going to get caught in a trap game. There are some injured receivers that I hope are healthy for Miami.

Fingers crossed the link works for the Dolphins/Chiefs game.

Sometimes ive had to take a swig of liquor when im hungover in the morning, hair of the dog that bit u and all that.
Mahi mahi is good eating for sure, for a white fish it's super dense and meaty, and one of the most expensive dishes at seafood restaurants.
Ive actually had fish cheek at a restaurant before, they brought the head out and you'd pick at the cheek, it was soft and flavorful.
U sure those california homeless would want to do hard manual labor like that? I think it'd take a lot of patience to train them out of their anti-social ways, if it can even be done. Although i guess mental illness is the culprit for the more intractable ones.
I think u get scared, Pops, in freaky places at night but u kind of like being scared. Like the adrenaline rush gets you going.

I forgot that most games for u start at 10am, Pops, so ur used to pregaming in the early morning. I know people that tailgate will get to the parking lot at 7am and start grilling, probably crack their first beers around then too.

Steak looks good even though the dish didnt turn out as well as it could have. I like to use butter when frying up steak or onions. That would be funny if ur mom helped u pick up a chick at the concert. Not sure how that would work tho.

Ive heard costa rica is some of the best nature on the planet, and u went fishing to boot. Cant imagine bringing in a marlin, that must be a great arm and shoulder workout. And u had to release them? lt's swordfish, right? That's good eating too, and also expensive at restaurants.

Think i lost a bit of $ on the seminoles not beating the crap out of an inferior opponent. So miami is next? they lost to NCST 2 weeks ago and are coming off a bye. FSU will be favored of course just depends on how much.

fish cheek is pretty good and ive seen how some asians will go after the head part of the fish with hungry hands! the eye balls seemed to be a hot item

here in california the state is trying to solve the homelss problem by basically making them wards of the state and giving them all kinds of free shit and housing
/instead of focusing on the lowest 1%, why not help some of those single parent working families that are barely getting by
they are still on the street, just corralled into encampments
no drug treatment programs, no skills training. just free hand outs for being f'n bums; no incentive to change
/the thing with a lot of people is they will follow the path of least resistance all through life and never change as long as you enable them to remain the same
plus these camps are hot spots for drugs and crime, regardless of what the city might say

We spent like $100 at the clam place...clams, lobster roll which was a treat and delicious, 2 sodas, a hot coffee, an iced coffee, a hotdog, 2 french fries, ice cream cone. Delicious. I had a hotdog and a lobster roll. And I have the clams to eat on. Good deal having an awesome mom.
