NFL 2019-2020

The great white hope was mitchell trubisky and we all know how that ended, he's the backup for the steelers tho so he'll be alright, being a backup QB in the nfl is like a guaranteed 5-7M/yr for not much risk. Tbag will get another start vs the saints this week, not sure what to expect, maybe issa good, maybe issa shit.

I heard about the video of the guy getting his neck sliced open in a UK hockey league and dying, looked up the video when u mentioned it was dirty and it wasnt that clear but yeah guy raised up his leg when he was hitting someone else and caught the victim up high. He does lead the league in penalty minutes so i guess he's an 'enforcer' but no one is going out there trying to cut someone with their skate, that's psychotic even for a hockey player.

I think the Christ Family that buzz was part of smoked weed, not sure if they did hallucinogens.

Are you going from left to right, Pops? Buzz is right, those are the OSU Beavers. Them and the washington state cougars (cougars and beavers?) are the only remaining Pac12 teams after everyone else left for the big 10 or big 12. Maybe they should make an all-sex name conference. Is there a team named the stallions? The hogs? Snakes?
The middle girl looks the juiciest, the one on the left has a nice 6 pack she's flexing, and the one on the right also has some ab muscles. I think a lot of college cheerleaders have gymnastics backgrounds with how fit they are.

Rent was less than $50/mth and you had a sweet secret fishing spot? Sounds like a great gig, Buzz. Very picturesque too. You still hang around the beach a lot? Ive always wondered what it would be like to retire on a boat and just sail around the Caribbean. It's like van life but on a boat.

It was almost 80F one day last week here too, DB, sounds like the weather moved west to east. You might get out cold spell soon, shouldnt be too cold to walk tho. Will u still be able to walk 10miles a day in the dead of winter, freezing temps and snow on the ground? I think boston does a good job with snow removal so as long as they sidewalks are shoveled maybe.

Is this ur first time getting a driver's license? U must be a real city boy if you've never had a license till now. It shouldnt be too hard to pass but maybe Mass is more strict on their driving exams than IL is.

Mark Davis cleaned house with the raiders last night, fired josh mcdaniels, their GM and the Off Coordinator too. Former giants LB antonio pierce is promoted from LB coach to interim Head coach and will start aidan oconnell at QB. I guess mark got tired of seeing mcdaniels staying loyal to former patriots when they continued to suck.

Hey baba booey here in Belmont they clear the side box everyday as soon as it snows right after the storm might have to wait 12 hours to walk on the sidewalk but it's not that bad I'll be able to still do my at least 6 miles a day two walks. I have snow pants and a good North face parka and really good boots that go up to my knees. Good selection of hats too. But it really doesn't get that cold here. Not many days below 32 degrees at all in winter. Handful probably.
I got my driver's license when I was 18 and then I let it expire when I was like 30 I guess I haven't had a license in 13 years. It'll be good to have it again it's only $25 I think I'm going to do it I shouldn't be so afraid. I'm not afraid of crashing I'm a really good driver I'm afraid of being all paranoid and having to watch the seat belt and having to keep an eye on the mirrors both the mirrors all the mirrors I guess and my the worst thing is parallel parking i ace that all the time but I haven't really had a license in 13 years. I can't let it go to waste guys.

you got this doob! but if you can get some time behind the wheel before you take the test
if your mom has a car maybe the two of you can go to a large open space like a parking lot and you can just get the feel for the wheel
practice driving like you would on the street, nothing too fancy
i think they took out the parallel parking here in san diego and also the three point turn so its probably easier to pass the test now then back in the day
sounds like you have your cold weather gear up to speed and it should not be a problem for you to enjoy your walks even in the cold/ snow
the evil beavers huh? i knew oregon had the ducks but i might need to get myself a hoodie with that logo on it
plus the color scheme is kind of cool, i like orange and black
f'yeah i asked for it! wow man you really delivered too
you lived in an old fort? on the coast
thats rad!
when you closed the gates did you have free roam of the place?
i grew up as a beach person, but here on the west coast and you will always have the salt water in your veins
that trout sounds like a trophy fish! flounder is actually a decent eating fish too
/i dont even like fish
how did you fall in with the christ family? it sounds interesting but ive already stuck out on their list of no nos
/wipes the blood off my hands so i can count out pennies for last nights hooker
i love all those things! BIGGGLLY
but were they into drugs? what were they like in real life?
hahah maybe al davis did rise from the grave and haunt poor markie, goes to sleep with skank only to wake up and see this!
ad.jpg

im glad ( not glad) to hear the raiders cleaned house but i think most of their problems start with jenine
i would post a pic of what he woke up to but i might get the mods on my ass for posting XXX rated shit
/but she was hawt!
tomorrow we get the tits v steelers, not the best game but im holding out hope that there will be a cool alt broadcast during this game!

You still hang around the beach a lot?

I got the job in July 1974. I was working as an electrician's helper at the time and the recession shut down nearly every construction project in town. I was out of a job so I started applying for state jobs- whatever was available. I filled out multiple applications that were 4-6 pages long. The same information over and over and over got really old. After a few weeks I received job opening letters, and some of those were from state parks. I set up a job interview for a ranger position at a park farther south and on the east coast, Sebastian Inlet. Before the job interview date, another letter came from Fort Clinch State Park. Besides all of the boilerplate info on salary, requirements, etc. was a sentence that caught my attention:

"One bedroom apartment available in fort."
Cancel interview set up interview at Fort Clinch. I got around by hitchhiking. My roommate took me to the edge of town and pointed me east. I had my backpack, a change of clothes and sleeping bag so I was ready for the road. My roommate had a can of peaches in the car that he handed to me, "You might need this." I had about 200 miles to go, and it was a Sunday morning. Interview time 8A Monday; that's plenty of time thought I. Short rides and long waits added hour after hour to the journey. July in the panhandle is hotter than hell and the humidity is worse. I dragged into the front gate of the park around 5:30P sweaty, hungry, and road weary. The ranger on duty set me up with a campsite for the night and told me the campground was three miles thataway. LOL I found the site and got the can of peaches open and ate them.

I needed a shower to wash the stink off me before the morning but no soap or towel with me. I knew there would be soap left somewhere in the shower, but a towel would be a good thing to have. I waited until dark and quietly lifted a towel from a clothesline at another campsite. One of the best showers ever!

The interview the next morning was rough. Park Captain and Lieutenant arrived and escorted to their office. I had a state job app with me but I had only filled out the personal information portion. First thing Captain says to me, "You what this application tells me?"
"No, Sir."
"If I gave you a job to do, it would only get half done."
Then he asked me about the cancelled interview at Sebastian Inlet. He was Captain there and he had just transferred to Fort Clinch. He was not happy with me.
The two of them grilled me with all kinds of questions and concerns.

A couple hours later they thanked me for coming. Don't call us. You'll have results sent from the state. Time to hitchhike back to Tally. It took me past nightfall to get less than halfway. I found a thicket of trees across from a railroad siding to spend the night. Hot and still that night; the mosquitos came out to drink. My sleeping bag was a down mummy style. In hot weather I slept on top of it, but mosquitos drove me to huddle inside of it. When I was drenched in sweat from a puddle gathering in the mummy bag, I scraped some twigs, sticks and leaves into a small pile and lit a smudge fire. I slept in short minutes in between keeping the smoke going and crawling into the mummy bag.

Tuesday morning now and I'm only 100 miles away. Tuesday afternoon I'm 97 miles away in Cross City sitting on a curb broke busted down and disgusted. I called my roommate and he rescued me.

I got the job approval a short time later. I found out later from the Captain he figured I was so hungry and desperate during the interview that I was a sure hire.

One day in April I was told to take the brand new 1 ton dump bed Dodge truck down to Jax to pick up sandblasting grit. Yay! I headed down I-95 and near the airport I saw two figures in white robes walking north. I made a mental note to give them a ride if I saw them on my return. I got the pallet of grit loaded and headed north on I-95. This time the two figures in white were on the south side. "Oh well", I thought, and went back to the park.

Maybe the next day or two days later I was working the front gate, and getting things ready to close the park for the night. There were some nasty dark clouds building over the Atlantic and I was hoping not to get soaked when locking the gate. I also had to make a bank deposit for the day's receipts. When I got to the gate there were two guys in white robes sitting with their backs against the front wall. Imagine that.

What's a side box, DB? Is that like an alley?
That's cool that you'll still be able to get in long walks outside in the winter, maybe you'll burn more calories too since it's colder your body will need to generate more heat.
Checking mirrors and ur blind spot are important in driving, also rotating ur head when necessary to look fully behind u is helpful. Parallel parking can be tricky, like pops said, so practice is needed. There's probably some good ytube videos on how to perfectly parallel park every time. I used to be good at it when i did it all the time but now i hardly do it anymore so i probably suck at it.

Im not sure but maybe skin disorders run in that family, mark davis has a weird looking nose, it's kind of a different color than the rest of his skin. It looks like cocaine nose or maybe alcohol nose cause it's like redder than the rest of his face but i think it's something more than that, like an actual problem with his skin.

Yeah hawk it's pretty reckless to raise ur leg high when on ur feet are sharp steel blades, he was unbalanced when he checked another player and ur leg naturally rises when ur leaning forward a lot but yeah id like to think it wasnt intentional. The player that died was from minnesota and had a short stint on the pittsburgh penguins but im guessing wasnt good enough to stick around the nhl that's why he was in a UK league. But he was a young guy and recently married too i think so it's sad, hopefully his league has some good death benefits to take care of his widow.

Pitt vs Tits doesnt sound all that inviting, Pops, but will levis is TN's rookie QB and he threw for 4 tds in his first start on sunday vs the falcons, if he has another good game maybe he'll be the real deal for titans fans.
Look at this madlad, he eats bananas peel and all and drinks his coffee with mayo. He's trolling us all, got to be.

oh wow man! that is an awesome adventure @buzzmobile
sleeping under the stars and living on the road
thats cool you got the gig and im sure you did an good job minding the fort, what were your duties there?
did you patrol the campgrounds and give tours of the fort?
ive seen out here where some ranger gigs you dont have to be an actual rofest ranger, but are more of the caretaker of the location
they usually set you up with a place to live and you just roam around the campsite making sure things are running smoothly
ive heard of sebastian inlet, its supposed to be a decent surf spot for fla surfers
i had a friend who would visit this one beach and come back with jars of old sharks teeth!
/sorry man, i cant remember the name but i tihnk it was on the gulf side
they were mostly smaller ones but still super cool man
wth baba? eating a banana skin and all? and putting mayo in your coffee?
thats pure ape man shit
and why the mayo? just drink it black
we will see what he can ship up tonight and i hope there is the alt braodcast to keep things interesting

The fort was open daily from 9A - 5P. There are two large doors that swing inside the sally port (the tunnel) that locked from the inside. Then it was mine for the night. Most of my duties involved maintenance of the park facilities which included garbage and trash pickup, cleaning restrooms, patrolling the park, working the front gate, registering campers, and fixing broken stuff. Dealing with the campers was the worst part of the job. Humans can make bathrooms a disgusting place to enter. I once walked into a bathhouse on the beach to discover a large turd in a sink. It was on the Men's side and the culprit had to be agile to manage the act. As a rule the Women left the restrooms in much worse condition than the Men. I wore a badge and I was a Perfessional Turd Wrassler during my time there.

The fort was open to visitors without charge when I was there. Plans also were being discussed to start a Living History program at the fort. One day at lunchtime I was in my apartment having a sandwich and listening to my little radio that I had on the windowsill. Jacksonville had a great FM station that played tunes for stoner rangers like me. Bouree came on so I turned it up and listened to the song bouncing around the walls and on to the parade ground. It sounded great, but not to Major Hardee who happened to entering the fort at the time. He was there for a meeting re. Living History. He was not a Tull fan. We agreed that music before 8A and after 5P was acceptable.

I fell asleep before halftime last night.

Surf Reports are not so good @pop_rocks

Im sure that guy is trolling, mayo in coffee and bananas with the peel are disgusting. The only thing that proves is that i wouldnt want to get into an eating challenge with that guy, if it involved eating gross stuff he'd win hands down while i'd be gagging and puking.
Fwiw, even tho his stats were unimpressive (0 tds, 1int), he looked pretty good throwing the ball. He did get some decent protection when he had to stand back there, also they did extra protection sometimes too, but still his arm and accuracy and vision were impressive for a rookie in his 2nd start. He was supposed to be a top 10 or 15 draft pick before falling to the 2nd rd, so maybe the titans have found their franchise QB.

So if u were Ray from TPB as a park ranger you'd just drink and drive around and harass the tourists and steal from their campsites, Hawk? Sounds about right. I'd be Bubbles, going along with everyone on their stupid adventures.

There's nothing i can do for poop in the sink except the obvious (double glove up, double toilet tissue up, mask up and pick up and drop that thang in a garbage bag all while cursing the punk that did that) but for the bathrooms you can spray pam or cooking spray on the inside of the toilets (the ones that are more porta potties than actual bathrooms with plumbing) and that'll help keep the 'spatter' from sticking to it, so less scrubbing for you.
What did humans do before bathrooms? No wonder europe was in the dark ages for centuries, they were pooping and peeing just anywhere, half the people getting wiped out by diseases. It's a lot of infrastructure to make sure people have clean water and treatment of sewage.

Major Hardee sounds like a real hard-ass, what an appropriate name, Buzz. Well, so long as u could play ur tunes outside of visitor's hours, that's fine.
The job itself sounded ok, mostly just maintenance which was the worst part but rent was cheap and the area was nice to hang out in.
Sounds like ur still a surfer so that's cool, Buzz. I hear northern florida, on the gulf, has some of the best beaches in the world. Isn't there one, like Beach 46 or something, that has water so blue and clear you can see right to the bottom?

Venice Beach near Sarasota is known for sharks' teeth. Caspersen Beach in particular.
There's nothing i can do for poop in the sink except the obvious (double glove up, double toilet tissue up, mask up and pick up and drop that thang in a garbage bag all while cursing the punk that did that)
High pressure water hose took care of the brown trout in the sink. The cursing was from me.
Major Hardee was actually a very good man. His family has a county named after them in central Florida. I don't surf anymore. Too far to decent waves and too old to want to get to the decent waves. ;) The beaches in the Panhandle from St. George Island across to Panama City, Destin and Pensacola are absolutely gorgeous. I prefer St. George as it's closer and I have better success surf fishing there.

oh man buzz! that sounds rad
those sound like pretty light work for the most part as long as the campers arent getting too rowdy, no turds in the sink! is that too much to ask
but i would battle all the brown whales in the sea just to have rule of the fort after hours
and 5p isnt tht late in the summer and you would still have hours of daylight left to goof around
what was in the other buildings? displays and interesting telling about the forts history
being the ranger you had keys to everything, right?
have you ever walked through the building at night? ive been to some neat old places and while i dont get spooked out by ghosts i have had a few creeped out vibes at times
we used to visit abandoned buildings/ ghost towns and it always trips me out to thini of the people who used to live there
i used to live near the gulf in pensacola and it does have nice beaches
they dont get the waves like we do in the pacific does but its still a way of life down there and i remember ron jons
i am not in shape to ride the waves i used to but i still like to hang out on the beach
hahah is that you in your white jebus robe @buzzmobile teaching the people to fish with a noles' hat on?
that looks like a nice haul, why did you cut their heads off right away? does it help with the taste of the meat or are you using them as bait?
i beg to differ baba, the banana gobler kind of sucked! he had several passes where he was just throwing the ball away in random directions
on that comes to mind is on a sack where he just sort of flung the ball away as he was being twisted to the ground and the sweetest was on the last drive of the game
he had already gotten away with a shitty throw earlier in the drive, a drive that could have won the game, but had to whip it in to ??? for a game sealing int on the last play
over all the game was kind lame

Well I fell asleep too early to watch the Titans game last night. Law & order came on and then I turned the TV off and went to bed 8:00 p.m.. on the plus side I was up at 6:30 this morning going for my walk even stop by the bakery for some fresh goods didn't get anything though but it all looked great 400 calories for a donut no thank you.
Went to The dispensary this morning Mayflower in Allston and grabbed 16 g of kief it's almost like bubble hash quality at like actually bubbles a little at the end and it's really really good and it's at least 50% so I'm enjoying myself I have enough for the month I think if I can go easy with it. Hope all of you guys are doing good Papa rocks bubba buoy s*** talk Oldsmobile <------&my speech to text is crap. Hey what's happening Oldsmobile? Hey shit talk. Too funny. Brown trout, that's funny. Is that a fisherman joke?
That's some beautiful scenery, Buzz. Is that 2nd pic in some lake or river, with the grass by you? Which do u prefer, freshwater fishing or saltwater fishing? Is there a difference, other than the salinity and the type of fish?
It's good that u eat your catch, i imagine if ur diet is mostly fish and less animal meat that that's better for your health/heart.

That's a good point, Pops, these old forts may have seen some battles back in the day. Although Ft. Clinch doesnt appear to have seen any action, it traded hands during the civil war but that involved the previous occupants abandoning it, not the new occupants fighting for it. Still, it was built to defend the river and the bay with cannon fire, and u can see they kept the cannon around, or have replicas. I'm assuming they were plugged up/nonworking?

I'll admit I didnt pay that close attention to the game and ur right his stats (and fantasy pts) weren't impressive and ending the game on an Int wasnt a good look but titans fans on social media were pretty pleased with mayo man. Maybe that's because little was expected of him but tannehill wasnt good before he sprained his ankle and malik willis, their 2nd yr QB, sucked as well. When youve been wandering the desert for a while even a sip out of a garden hose and a stale cracker tastes like manna from heaven.

Which L&O seasons are u watching, DB? I watched a lot of the benjamin bratt seasons, those were pretty good. I think jerry orbach has been there for most of the seasons, but he passed away some time ago.
Starting your day off early with exercise shows how motivated u are, im always tired as heck in the mornings so it’s hard for me to get going.
So don’t u usually get the kief, DB? Is the bubble hash more expensive? What % of thc is bubble hash usually? Anyway, sounds like a good buy and if u can smoke .5g a day that will last u 32 days. It’s the snuff im more worried about, but maybe nicotine is helping your appetite suppression. If u quit chewing tobacco tho u might put on weight, friend of mine every time he quit smoking he’d gain a bunch of weight.

im not sure about this actual fort but it could have been spanish or something, but that would be part of the coolness of the place
history is rad and it gets even ebtter when you can actually be there and check it out for yourself
/bonus points when you have someone who actually knows the local folklore
is one of those sweet sausage breakfast biscuit for me doobah? hell yeah
ill throw some hash brown patties in the toaster oven and cook up som eggs and we are eating like kings!
i used to love hash and would make my own ice hash all the time
/dry sift is cool too but i like the bubble for processing a lot of hash
the best has does bubble and melts like sugar when you hit it with the flame
never got into extracts but the ones ive smoked knowed my socks off
"Papa rocks bubba buoy s*** talk Oldsmobile"
the sad thing is i understand every word you are saying here man!

what was in the other buildings? displays and interesting telling about the forts history
being the ranger you had keys to everything, right?
have you ever walked through the building at night?
The other buildings were empty when I was there. They are now part of the Living History program. I lived in the Quartermaster Building. The Barracks Building is the larger of the two and was on the west side of the parade ground. On the east side were two smaller buildings that are now a field kitchen and a blacksmith forge. Two buildings on either side of the sally port were set up as a jail and administrative office.
The ranger that lived in the other apartment next to mine was Cecil. He was an old man when I met him and he had been a young man when he first worked at Ft. Clinch. He was in the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) during the Great Depression, and he had worked in the fort to restore it. The first seven Florida State Parks were built by the CCC.

Cecil gave me the fishing spot secret, taught me how to throw a cast net, and he showed me where he scratched his initials into the bricks of the Barracks Building. He also told me he had seen a ghost of a Confederate soldier in the fort. I never saw one, but I spent a lot of time wandering around the fort at night.

Look closely at the picture of the fort in the link above and there is an opening to the left of the Quartermaster Building. That's a tunnel that runs under the inner berm out to the bastion at each corner of the five sided fort. Each bastion has a tunnel and they are pitch black at night. My youngest brother (10 years age difference) came to visit me for a week one summer. We went out one night to check out the fort after I shared ghost stories with him. I led him into one of the tunnels and about halfway in I took off running and disappeared into the dark. I probably scared and scarred him for life. ;) Just doing my job as a big brother.

It's a shitty fisherman's joke.
The 2nd picture is from the Bay side of St. George Island. In the background to my right is a dark line of sand dunes and the Gulf of Mexico beyond. I had caught the bag of fish in the surf and decided to fish the bay. There are grass and oyster beds that hold trout, flounder, and redfish. I was tossing lures when my lovely wife took that picture.

I much prefer saltwater fishing. The variety of fish available, the feel and taste and appearance of the water, the sand under my toes make the difference to me. The size and scale of the oceans is overwhelming much like the vastness of the stars at night.

Sometimes the fish gets bigger when you turn it sideways.

Ok, kief usually tops out at 50% thc and bubble hash is 60-70% thc. Do u need a special pipe to smoke it? When it gets all runny when heated up is wasteful if it just runs out of ur bowl.
Like Pop said those look like decent sausage biscuits, the ones i used to get had the egg and cheese on them but i think i would have preferred just plain sausage since the egg had this weird texture when nuked.

I think u can correct ur voice to text translations, DB, so ur smartphone will learn what u mean when u say our screen names.

Tannehill was a pretty decent starter 2-3 yrs ago, but this year has a 1-2 td-int ratio, and Levis's 4 td game last week is more TD's than tannehill has all year. Before, the tit's identity was dominant run game and defense but king henry is more like prince henry now and the D is more mid than great, so i think fans are hoping for a more modern, pass first offense. But ur right, there will be growing pains if they roll with levis, might be some 2-3 int games if he's slinging it all over the field.
Speaking of eggs and hash browns, here's some sausage gravy over over-easy eggs, hash browns and toast. I guess there's some cheese under there too, with the orange, but this was from a week or 2 ago so dont recall. But it was a heavy meal for sure, had it for a late breakfast and didnt eat again till dinner.

sausage gravy.jpg

Cecil sounds like one cool cat, Buzz. Im glad u met him.
That's freaky, Buzz, wandering around an old military fort at night, high as a kite, I'd be jumping at every little noise and shadow. But pops knows im a scaredy-cat like that. It's the weed tho, gets my imagination running. And Cecil said he did see a confederate ghost? Did he smoke too?

Dang, that is one big fish Buzz. Ur right, looks 3x bigger from the side than from the front. What a freaky looking forehead, is that a flounder of some sort? Is there some good meat in that head? I know it cant be all brain.
Im guessing saltwater fish can get a lot bigger than freshwater fish. And u make a beautiful point on how big and mysterious our oceans are, kind of like outer space but accessible to the avg person.

I totally forgot the Fins-Chiefs are playing in Germany Sunday morning, that should be the game of the week and it's so dang early haha. 930am isnt too early for u probably but Pops has to start pregaming at 630am. Is that too early for vodka, Pops?

Im surprised TPB has never done a camping or guerilla grow episode, Hawk. And i know ur not a thief. A drunk and a hooligan, maybe, but not a thief or a rapist or a child molester. A killer, maybe, if the money is right. Did ninja kill for money, or just political gain?
