I didnt know what vietnamese pork roll was so i looked it up, it's basically their version of bologna? Ive never had it in a banh mi, if they fry it up a bit before making a sandwich out of it id be interested.

The woman loves a shrimp spring roll, the non-fried version. Dipped in some peanut sauce, it's pretty good eats.
Ground chicken wrapped in flaky dough sounds like it has to be good, sounds like u need to make another trip soon.

Im not sure now whether religion is more prominent in football vs other sports. There's plenty of religious basketball and baseball players as well.
You make a good point about most of the samoan players being Mormon, a fair number of them go to BYU and Utah for college ball.

FSU supposedly has lost six espn 300 college football recruits this season. Firing 3 coaches this week didnt help. Their incoming class is ranked somewhere in the 30s which isnt great if they want to be a top 10 team again, but maybe Norvell can work some portal magic again.

Im hoping it's a competitive game but im thinking eagles take it, theyve been hitting on all cylinders lately, Saquon and Hurts are an unstoppable rushing combo, i like saquon for 100+ yds rushing and the eagles to win. Theyre favored by 4, i could see the commanders beating the spread tho, Buzz is right their defense has been better and they get brian robinson, their starting RB, back tonite from injury.

We've made shrimp spring rolls at home, ur right it's pretty easy, especially if u use fully cooked frozen shrimp. A good peanut sauce isnt hard to make from scratch either.

Eagles struggled to score till the 4th qtr then they blew it open with 2 long TD runs by saquon. That eagles D has been clicking lately. I think 2 members of their secondary are white dudes too.

Washington's D is about league average now which is a great improvement over last year's bottom 3 defense. Fields threw for 4 td's against them last yr that's how bad they were.

It's alright, Buzz, no one really knows anything when it comes to sports betting. Or at least the ones who really know something don't reveal their knowledge publicly, because it would actually hurt their profit.

I think jayden daniels has a rib injury so he hasnt been putting up the stats like he was earlier in the year. I missed a parlay cause hurts didnt have a passing td; daniels only had a passing td in garbage time but it still counts.
Saquon's O/U rush yards was in the 90s at most sports books, it wasnt till midway through the 4th quarter that he surpassed that total. I was honestly surprised at his 2nd long TD run of the game but if any bettors had him at 2 tds and/or more than 140 rush yards they made out like bandits.

I might have to try the pork roll next time im at a banh mi place, Pops. I wonder if i could just buy some of the pork roll as well.

Some interesting college and nfl games on this weekend. Georgia v Tenn is a college playoff elimination game, probably. Ive been seeing some articles in the media on if the chiefs will go 17-0 this season which makes me think they'll lose at the Bills on sunday afternoon. Buffalo is favored by 2, and josh allen has admitted they tend the win the regular season matchups but in the playoffs it's a different story.

I wonder how Gojoe is doing with football betting? Hopefully he's up for the year....

i get tpo enjoy an early game with the rams v the patriots
i think this should be a good get right game for the rams and we will once again achieve mediocre status (a win here puts us at 5-5)

Thats a good point, if you've got the #1 seed locked up why risk injury with a game or 2 remaining? Your backups would have to be pretty good for most teams to finish 17-0, that or some other team in your conference would have to be a 15-16 win team in order to keep u playing ur starters.

Rams are favored by 4.5 on the road, im not sure about that line. Theyre going through their AFC east gauntlet now, with 3 of their next 6 games vs the pats, bills and jets. They already lost as favorites to miami last week, im thinking patriots might upset them as well. NE's defense is playing better and drake maye doesnt suck.

Stopped by home depot the other day and there was a taco truck in the parking lot so got a steak taco and steak torta. Both were pretty decent! Steak wasnt too chewy or gristly, ingredients were fresh, sauces were fine. $4 for a big taco full of meat and $10 for a meat filled torta, not a bad deal either.

the tortilla reminds me of the ones they have in texas, a lot fluffier than the ones we have here in san diego

A torta does include a smear of refried beans, i didnt taste too much beans in this one so they must not have used much. I probably prefer it that way, i like beans but on a sandwich id prefer to taste more meat & veggies.
The tortilla is just a standard grocery type, flat but we didnt eat it for a while so it swelled up with moisture from the fillings.

I dont know what the rams need to win games. It's a cliche to say they just need to play better. The defense is improving and next year could likely be a top 10 unit, so that's encouraging. You think they need a different QB? Maybe a younger one with more mobility?

That's a lot of calories from booze, hawk. Maybe take a multivitamin. You getting your electrolytes? Eat some salt and drink some water. Hydration is important, will help flush your body of the booze toxins.

Arent most ragu/gravy recipes basically cans of san marzano tomatoes and some spices (S&P, garlic, onion, oregano basil thyme)? Maybe some fennel, crushed red pepper for some spice, brown sugar, worchestershire etc as u see fit to add complexity and ur unique touch?

Jake Paul to win at -200 or something was the easiest $ ever. He sucks as a pro boxer but Tyson was washed 20 years ago and is over twice jake's age. Plus he was wearing a knee wrap, couldnt use his legs to generate power. All jake had to do was fight defensively for the first round and after that tyson was pretty much punched out.
I did lose a couple bets on Tyson getting knocked down during the fight, jake eased off for most of the fight, was just content to pepper tyson with jabs for the decision. Guess he didnt want to look like even more of a heel by trying to knock out a near 60yr old.

I predict today the surviving members of the '72 Dolphins will pop champagne as the bills will beat the undefeated chiefs, Buzz. I hope eventually some of those guys are still alive if and when a team goes undefeated again, including playoffs.

It gets to 40s here at night but so far it's been fairly warm for mid November. Im hoping it'll be a mild winter.

Jake Paul will never be a legit contender, he wants to fight canelo alvarez but canelo would destroy him, even if he was 20-30lbs lighter than jake. Jake isnt a bad boxer and is well coached but he has no special attributes physically. He's tough and has some power but that's it, an elite boxer would piece him up and finish him off.

I like beans but dont want them to overpower the other ingredients. Im not sure i even tasted beans in the taco and torta i had.
