The Lions were my favorite team when I was a kid. That was before the Dolphins became a football team. They won last night for me. It was a birthday present. The Packers did not have a chance.

Ur right Pops, with the protections given to receivers and QBs, speed is at a premium nowadays. Being able to get open and actually make difficult catches is obviously necessary as well.
I like that u have a forward thinking view of ur team, stafford can sling it with anyone but if u can get some valuable pieces for him why not trade him? Plus he has been throwing a lot of int’s lately, he has a good arm but some of those tight window throws are ill-advised at best. Maybe stetson bennett can show a thing or two if/when stafford gets traded.
Rams have too many young guys to really fit in Stafford’s window of top 10 QB play, which might be over by now to tell the truth. But stafford would be a big upgrade over zach wilson, despite the turnovers, at least he can read a defense. Maybe if stafford adjusts his contract or takes less guaranteed $$ next year, the trade can happen.
Lions vs Packers was interesting, like Hawk said lions just dominated the packers on both sides of the line, ran all over them for 3 rushing td’s, and shut down the packer’s run game and also pressured jordan love all game long.
Yeah Buzz, chimps, even though they weigh 100lbs, could eff up a big strong human without too much trouble. I keep remembering that one lady who had her chimp on xanax or something and it went crazy and ripped off her friend’s face. Give me a small spider monkey or something like in the pirates of the caribbean movies, the worst that thing could do is throw poop at me.
I’ll probably make the soup sometime soon and will post pics, Hawk. In the meantime all this talk of Arbys made me go out and try it, havent had it in a long time. Got the big game burger and some items off their new value menu. It was alright, burger was kind of dry and overcooked, it’s 1/3 each of elk, venison and beef, it did taste gamier than a regular beef burger and it was leaner/drier so that wasn’t great but it was ok, had a 50% coupon on it otherwise it would have been $10 like hawk’s brisket bacon burger.
The roast beef and curly fries were as a I remembered if a bit smaller, the white flakes are parmesan cheese that I shredded on the same plate and used on a salad.
How does a person living in florida choose the detroit lions as a team, Buzz? Got family from michigan or u just liked the animal? Are they your ‘second team’? That’s cool that both of them are doing well this year, what would u do if they met in the superbowl? Lol, lions in the superbowl, truly we’re in the endtimes if that happens…

I was about to tell you about my Dad. He had a spider monkey as a kid. He did not like the spider monkey and the spider monkey did not like him. I don't know what became of the spider monkey that my Dad had. I did not get a spider monkey of my own when I was a kid. I did go to the Monkey Jungle where spider monkeys roamed free.

There was an old show .I Wana say it was a Clint Eastwood flick and the orangutan ripped a car door right off of a car. We missed out on the incredible primate strength.
in addition, apes they have super long arms compared to their body, so it would be hard to close the distance on them

First pic is to show how much kale I put in before it shrinks down.i never add salt while it's cooking.maybe it's just me but it's really easy to over over salt it.i know its greasy but you can skim the grease if you want.either way this is not a low calorie soup.that piece of sausage looks wierd cause its still got the froth from the cream on it

Yeah I think venison/elk/bison burgers are less fatty than beef burgers, so prone to drying out if cooked all the way through, also gamier is how theyre supposed to taste. I suppose if u hunted all of ur own meat that’s what you’d have to live with, some people like that tho.
Stetson might be in rehab or something now, rams put him on the non football injury list so who knows when he comes back. I guess their other backup is brett rypien, who’s the nephew of former NFL QB mark rypien.
Stafford is slinging it for plenty of yards but has a 60% completion and a 2-4 TD-Int ratio. He’s not the problem but he can’t superman a roster to the playoffs anymore it seems like. Getting value for him while he’s still healthy doesn’t seem like the worst decision.
I wonder why ur dad’s monkey didn’t like him, Buzz. Maybe he was stingy giving it its favorite foods.
U could probably pick up a lot of ladies if u had a funny little monkey as a pet, Pops. Maybe u could teach it some dirty tricks, like masturbating on command or something.
