Mechanical Extraction...... Solvent free = Absence of solvents from the extract process. Solvent-less = Absence of solvents in terms of residual solvents/weight, or having 0PPM.

What's the best way to process trim and larf into kif for pressing rosin? I probably want a more thorough / 'dirty' sift than someone who's trying to make pure full melt - Maybe I could use a large micron bubble bag and dry ice?
I was not heckling you, there is literally no point to quoting without sourcing. I was trying to fully understand the info you put forth. I listed wiskedfoodie because it explained the topic in simply & easy words as you seemed to be struggling grasping the topic. Of course wiskedfoodie is not a thesis source, but its simple wording for the stoner audience I am addressing. If my audience was chemists not stoners, I would of linked to something more appropriate.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Have a t-shirt press, put a nug between parchment, set temp between 300 and 360 (tried 300,320,340,& 360), press for between 3 and 20 seconds. I'm not getting anything. What I do see going wrong is the bud is kind of indenting into the parchment / the soft pad that is the base of the unit where the top heating element presses down on. Do I need to modify it and put a piece of aluminum or steel down as the base so it has a hard surface to press against?
I screwed down the neck basically as far as it will go so I'm applying as much pressure as the machine will allow... Not getting a single little bit of oil though! Thanks.
I've gotten back into pressing hash....Nice stable rock hard finished product....sure is nice to press 5g of melty hashand get back 3.8g of rosin out...
Flavor isn't quite as nice, but the yield makes up for it
