The royal kush was 800 bucks per pack at the emerald cup. Their OG was $500. they say the high price means only master artist growers will have their gear. i'm trying to think of something funny to compare that to.
my friend has a bunch of seeds of royal kush and The Truth, from "mandelbrot" before he died. i told him what aficionado is selling them for and he couldnt believe it. said we should make some backcrosses and undercut those guys. this guys hilarious

one question, if they say "master artist growers" um, wouldn't the master grower have, and selected some of the best genetics? why would they spend stupid $$ on these fools?
on a side note, Shcrews, been lurking for a bit, LOVE your grows! I am not an outdoor guy but I love watching your show, thanks for sharing!! cant wait to watch this year come to fruition.

I got them in humboldt last year, they were 250 a pack. I had seen the same packs elsewhere for 350.
250 was a push... I was so nervous with every single seed. 500 or 800 is just insane, and sad at the same time. Ive also joked about someone doing knock offs of them.
The LVRK I made last year, I have just been giving away locally. We cloned all the phenos, then pollinated every single one to try to keep more of the gene pool. So we ended up with 12 seeded LVRK's, to many damn seeds.
I remember hearing rumours of the HA OG clone originally selling for like 10k or 15k. Couple other old stories like that to.
Ive been searching for the Durban Poison we use to get back in the 90s, since the late 90's. The crew that ran it, told me that the clone fizzled on them. Since then I have only seen 1 variety that was somewhat similar to it. Watched one of those youtube smoke reviews though, that looked pretty dead on. I would go to drastic measures to get that cut or seed. Maybe I should hint to Bodhi about bringing it back. It was so potent/racey, never experienced anything even in the same ballpark.

I have 2 questions for yah Shcrews. Do you put a paper towel on the inside of your containers so your soil doesn't wash away when watering? And will they get big enough to sex them in these containers before your up your's to 5's or 7's or what ever the next will be? Thanks
no ive never had a problem with soil washing away. the seeds get sprouted in 4-inch pots indoors under t5's, after two weeks i transplant into 5 or 7gal pots until they show sex in may.
