It will only get better with age I love the low temp cures I had some Colombian Gold xDemon Latcher today 18 months old and still smells like it was picked a month ago and yes trippy as all hell.

I've been digging through my archives from 2016 and I still have some of this cob today ha ha.

Better light.

I thought I'd leave it like this until the morning and then rewrap and vacuum seal it. Check it in another week.
How's that sound?

I would start to dry it (even till it feels a little over dry, it won't be), opening at weekly intervals and drying further until it looks/feels and smells dry as when you sealed it up on opening. Then seal for a good rest.

Dry it slowly and go straight to aging it looks well fermented from the pics.
The fact that it smells good is an excellent harbinger (big words allowed) of a quality cure my friend.
I had some 18 month old Mulanje today its good to change up to something with big balls ha ha.
I just love that feeling of being king of the world for a day.

So far I have 15 in a cigar box, 7 in my "curator" and 11 in the Sweatbox. Some of these are from a harvest that was a bit rushed due to bud rot. A few of these have been laced with honey and a few with brown sugar. I am not expecting great things from these but what the heck!!!
My 4 Mulanje are just starting to get brown pistels so I am watching them reeeeaaaaal close!!!
That's when the fun begins!!!!!!!! :groupwave: :whee::dance013:

Fantastic 🤩 I’m glad you saved your plant from too much bud rot, I had to cut off some buds yesterday because of the same issue (unseasonably early rain was the cause). Super excited for your Mulanje to ripen 🙌🏼

What a beautiful cola! that should make an awesome cob i would try a drier cure myself to keep all those terps as strong as possible.
i have a couple of cobs I'm keeping all the seeds from for my next grow after Christmas, the high is just so cool after 18 months aging pure bliss.
My life is off the rails chilled and cool after the cobs I made from that grow real heady.

I have procured everything needed to make the cobs and now patiently waiting the last few weeks to harvest my buds and try making some cobs. One question; I'm growing Mexican sativa (sensi seeds version so could be called Mexican indica!) and the top bud is about the size of a 500ml beer can, it looks perfect for cobbing as easily should be over an ounce weight. Can I just cob the entire bud as is or should I break it up into smaller chunks and remove the stem before rolling in the corn husk? Also should I trim the sugar leaves before cobbing or can I leave them on?

For me it is remove the stem, leave the sugar leaves on the cob,and pay close attention to larger cobs to get proper cure!
