i think it may have something to do with dna fragmentation since they have a very old genetic line. but don't know. it's hard to see what kind of viroid would do that.

I've always seen the classic "nanner" male flowers from trainwreck and it's crosses. Never any seeds though.

Had the same issue with two Core Cuts. I thought it was because I accidently let them dry up because I didn't give them enough water and also they were heavily underfed.
Really weird. It was exactly like you said, I could just pluck the dried buds from the plants and smoke them right away.
The Permanent Marker in the same cabinet nearby didn't show this. So I guess atleast that virus is not contagious (?).
Yeah thats exactly how mine looked.
Did you also notice that it's traveling down a branch? When i didn"t harvest them lower buds on the same branch also dried up.

sounds like symptomes of hlvp if you have isolation spot put it inside or killed you can lose your whole library
It's true I've grown it like 20x...freaking amazing. Skunky af with lemon pepper background. Will stink your whole neighborhood up smell. Nugs rock hard and very silvery

I agree, I’ve grown a few packs about 8 years ago. Very stinky, I liked the astringent citrus smoke and the energetic high.
I wish I still had it, was such a good seed offering. I got mine when they first released it. Update: tossed that pictured trainwreck found balls all over it. So don't buy twenty20 trainwreck it's

People had the cut from different shops many of them provide test results on a regular basis for their motherstock, while this doesn't exclude hlvp entirely I'd say it's rather unplausible that all shops would fake their test results, or none of the tests would have caught it...
there is even a shop selling a meristem culture version of the cut, I'm not sure if anybody had that one in flower already, but it would be interesting if it shows the same problems...
talking about the core cut btw, sorry for offtopic

Sorry for yet another offtopic post, but I've since had the same or rather something similiar happen to my tested(!) Cheetos cut, it's another strain said to strife on low nutrients and I think I overfed her just a little bit and she showed these "burned" or "dried out" bud tips, albeit not as extreme as I've seen it on the Amnesia Core cut + it also didn't progress down the whole branch (as it did on the Amnesia), it more or less just burned the very tips of a few buds... but for me this adds to my theory that it is some kind of nutrient lockout that causes this on strains with very low nutrition needs - although I have no idea why this seems to be primarily a problem on soil, but then again I have no idea about hydro, it's just that a friend of mine used the same Core cut in his hydro setup with coco and he never had any burned bud tips whatsoever...
