What exactly is Fiming I though it was tying it over and letting the side chutes catch up What do you think is the best way to Bushy up my plants?

some of the many saved tutorials i have from overgrow like i mentioned i like to combine FIM with LST FIM instead of traditational toping but have toped also with fim,lst he he. ive played around with the sugar shack alot with these methods my goal is 1oz or better per gal soil not GPW gramm per watt lol

you see INB Maj is comboing two tech to get the results he is looking for....the pics and info he put up are pretty good ones, IMOH multi topping will give you the bushest plant possible but you better have lots of girth space to try this tech.....

top your plant above the 5 or 6 node give your plant time to grow a few decent size side shoot then top them as well, once those new shoot get a decent size top them again.....this will take awhile so make sure you are prepared to put the vegg time in or it wont be worth it....


low stress training "LST" is a fairly simple tech just start when the plant is smallish take the top/upper portion of the plan and tie a strind around it, once this has been done pull it down and tie it off.....there are many ways ppl do this some do a few ties while others do lots...

the basic single top tech is the one i prefer, its simple and does exactly what i want it to do.....ummm which happens to be to slow the upward growth and lets the side shoot catch up, so instead of having one big main cola you get 4/6/8 smaller ones but this will give you a better overall yield in MOST cases.....now some strains do not do well topped so ask around a bit before doing any kind of cutting....

RIGHT ON GUYS THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO! I thought that Fiming was something totally diffrent I think ill wait till I move down there to try anything too new Maj. I am going to move the first of May i think so till then, I will just let my little cuties grow for awile I have 3 months till i move so i will let my plants grow for almost 3 more weeks the switch 12/12 I figure that will give me 50-55 days of flowering then another few days for trimmin and beginning the curing process... I guess I will be bringing the benefits of this grow over to ur pad Maj for (proper) inspection I guess we will just have to smoke smoke smoke lol oh well gotta do what u gotta do! Lookin foward to it bro

The plant that I thought was going to die, Its starting to take off Right on!

A overall, the cab is growing great. Everyday it just looks healthier. I think i have finally dialed in a good nute H2o schedule.
This is how im watering them:
1 tspn 18-18-18 all purpouse fert
1 tblspn FF Big Bloom
per gal h2o (this is every third watering)

1tblspn FF Grow Big
1 tspn Diamond Nec.
per gal h2o( this is every third watering)

just plain water I have two one gal jugs i mix nutes in. I also have a gal jug for just plain water. This is how im water:
water one day (when needed)
then one of the other jugs
then water
then the other jug
then water (all of these are when needed) I let them get dry between watering
What do you think about this guys I am using what i can get my hands on to do my best (lack of good supplies sucks!)

ok lets see what we have today first off your holes in the plastic containers are to few, i would put atleast 8 /10 holes in there this could be some of the problem with them drying out.....

i'm guessing you have no PH meter correct??...you said this

you are mixing your nutes as needed, i mean your not like mixing your ferts on monday and useing them say wednesday are you.....

is that the best you can do as far as ferts go's?...if so get your self some perters 20-20-20 its reliable and works well.......

dimond nectar first week 30 ML=3 tsp per USgallon...
raise that dose by 10ML every week untill you go to flowering....

also if your useing tap water get your self a bottle of 3%peroxside and add 1/8 cup per USgallon this will help with the clorine in your tap water....

humm FF big bloom not sure your supost to be useing that yet the grow sure but bloom ummm

did you single out the runt and give it a bit stronger dose yet??.......make sure when you water and feed to apply the liquid untill you get RUN OFF out the bottom of the pots, dont just give them a cup of liquid and then say ahhh thats good.....i call that half assing it and thats not what you want to do....

now this is just some friendly advice and by no means do you need to follow it just giveing you something to think about......

for sure no big bloom yet i use 1/2 cup per gal water 1 wk before 12/12, as of lately ive been given 1/2 cup when i 12/12 and the only time that much is given. after that 1 give 2 tblspn per gal 1st wk 3 tblspn/gal 2nd wk so on so forth untill its 4 tblspn/gal. and this is every other watering

grow big will drop your waters ph
tiger bloom will drop your waters ph
big bloom wont drop the ph
seaweed extract also drops little not as much like FF
diamond necture i forgot lol i'll have to see tonight at feeding time


i need to upgrade my hanna PH meter because i was given some old but useful hydro supplys. GH coco bricks and such, just need to clean it up and do some research and new coco specific nutes. if you dont have a PH meter by time ya get here and ive upgraded i'll give ya my old 1 works fine i calibrate it every month like clock work.

this is what i do to everything over 2 liter soda bottel size this is 12 quart 11 liter plastic trash can. even my 1 and 2 gal grow bags have slits cut into the sides of the bags to help proper root airation and to promote faster dryn soil he he. now just rasie the container off ground 1/2 inch and your set



oops as long as you pour the water slow and evenly it wont drain out any side holes just the bottom, in other words dont flood it when ya water and it'll be fine he he

I do not have a digital PH The only one I can get my hands on is a hundred bucks and im in save for move mode! I have a cheapy that gives me a idea of what it is( you know water in a tube 5 drops of solution turns what color it is) I know that my PH up here is high around 7-7.5 When i put a tspn of Diamond Nec in a gal it drops to 6.5-7 Thats what i water at.

I dont have access to many other ferts around here Jaws but if you can tell me a couple that im missing I will look around there are a few hydro shops around that I could check.
I let the plain water sit in one gal jugs overnight Then i mix the nutes right before i water I have been told to let the plain water sit overnight to let any chlorine evaporate away so thats what I do.

I was thinking about hydro myself Maj I have been told with hydo Plants grow bigger and faster Thats cool you are gonna experiment with it im way eager to see how it turns out! My buddy in the hydo shop told me he would build me a sweet hydro setup 25 spaces for plants h2o pump all the nutes needed for fully organic grow 500 bucks Its a sweet set-up He uses a 600 hps but i want a 1000. Maybe after awile when i get some money the big N and i could drive up here and get set up.
It would be sweet to have a 50/50 set up half dirt half hydro we could do some awesome experiments I know one thing for sure wed have some BOMB!

right on buddy N has the setup in mind for sure and 600w hps and the best hortilux hps bulb should pull almost what a 1k hps dose for less cost in energy. i believe he was thinking 4-6 - 600w hps lights for flower and then the bio bucket grow method big tokes bio buckets he's been reading up on he he

What do you think about bio buckets? I dont know anything about em? We will also do dirt cause i dont know about buckets and I really like dirt and I would really like to give hydro a try Then we will have all the bases covered 3 months cant wait!

sure 12/12 em when ya want you should know plants sex a 1-2 wks then, if by chance you get a male pls read up on how to collect pollen safely so we can make some new fresh seed of this sugar shack he he .

Im getting pretty stoked, there growing pretty good. I topped the runt yesterday This is a good batch to practice on so i figured id give it a try
The one on the right is turning into a monster The bottom chutes are at least 4-6 inches if i wasnt moving i would try to clone them but i am moving so ill just let em grow out and try to get a extra oz or so?
